Oh man, my teen daughter is dyslexic and has ADHD, and I have been watching your videos and sharing them with her just because I kept saying, “Oh she’ll love this one!” Your energy is very similar to hers, and it explains why I love your content so much. I am validating your self-diagnosis. Yes to the ADHD I’m sorry you had teachers who thought you’d outgrow your dyslexia; teaching hasn’t changed much for dyslexics. I’m sure my daughter has been told something similar. I taught my daughter sign language and finger spelling when she was 9 years old, to help her with spelling, vocab and reading; that worked much better than anything the school offered for her dyslexia.
Yea I was failed by the educational/social system as well … I got told I’d never be successful in university by my high school guidance councillor soo my pettiness got me to the 5th year of my PhD lol

I’m also a collector of a few things, as well as for my best friend. She *loves* tourist fridge magnets and I’m always getting her ones from places I’ve been. My boyfriend’s parents are in Antartica right now and were confused why I asked for a cheap magnet rather than literally anything else 😂
Yes! I was only recently diagnosed with the attention deficit type, and it makes soooo much sense. I have so much going on at once, and none of it is completed.
Starting one job that leads to dozens and then bringing it all together in the end is absolutely me. Just takes hours/ days longer than originally planned 🤣🤣

Im adhd and autistic diagnosed and honestly you are relatable af. Self diagnosis is valid because lets face adhd assements aren't adhd friendly. Also Adhders do tend to find each other so you probs have a bunch of friends that are similar, try reading up on it, I help my partner with techniques to get around the issues adhd cause us (he is not diagnosed yet) and it makes such a difference. If you want ssome resources or something let me know :)

It reminds me of someone I used to know in my last supermarket back home in Ireland where I’d been for 13 years, this lady started out on the checkouts, pregnant with her first child, then she became a checkout supervisor after her child was born, then she left after a few years to join a big pharma company - when she was a checkout supervisor, her son used to always hang around the store as this annoying kid, but then a few years later I’d heard via Facebook that he’d been in Australia and had come back to Ireland - I’d seen him again when I’d come home from Manchester and he’d come back as this gorgeous big strapping hunk with a smokin’ hot bod and it turned out that he was gay with a boyfriend in tow and I was literally gobsmacked
I noticed some blurring during the videoand wasn't sure what it was about at first, then realised you were blurring the view from your home. I hope things are better with your situation and you're able to feel more comfortable and secure
Starting a bunch of tasks and jumping from one to the other without finishing (what I call pinballing) is very typical ADHD incase that's something you wanted to look into. I was diagnosed autistic and ADHD when I was 26 (okay as I type this you're mentioning ADHD). Medication has been life altering to me
