This dog is cool as hell, but he ain't a service dog and these owners are frauds for trying to portray him as one. The fact that they have the audacity to put in the captions asking "are you gonna be good on the flight" ? and think its cute to have the dog answer with maybe just shows how entitled these owners think they are and its insulting to people who actually need to fly with a service animal, one that actually helps them or provides a service so that person can live close to a normal life.
I love watching these videos because I recently left my chocolate chunk a few months ago as I moved away from my parents and now I don’t get to see him everyday at home, so this brings me joy.
I LOVE your doggie videos, but I think people might click on them more if you used real pictures as your thumbnails. Just my two cents (I could be wrong). I’d love to see this sweet puppy have millions of subscribers!
Followed Woodford from the day you guys picked him or he picked you 🤷♂️ wanted a chocolate Labrador for a long time unfortunately my wife doesn’t do dogs 😢 but you guy’s keep me happy ❤
There are also people who just buy a vest and say their dogs are service dogs and give people who actually have their dog trained and certified. The people who just buy a vest give us a bad name.
@@stephengrove3613 While this is true, I'm sure the airline vetted their information. You cannot just fly, especially to Hawaii, with a fake service dog. Furthermore, taking a pet to Hawaii requires them to be quarantined. This isn't like taking a fake service dog into a grocery store. To get on a flight to Hawaii, there are much greater requirements. So I'll say it again, they don't owe anyone an explanation of their private medical needs.
Hiya they don't have to give out their medical information, if someone asks what task the dog is trained to perform, thats a legal none invasive question as per the ADA law and coming from a service dog handler.
@@_-Dakoda-_ That's true, however they don't owe anyone on RUclips that explanation either. They gave it to the airline and that's all anyone needs to know. If the airline approved it, then it's no one else's business.
Hiya! Im asking this as a none invasive and curious question, so I'll ask the ada question. What task is he trained to perform? If you dont mind answering;)
Woody is trained as my psychiatric service dog. He is trained to recognize signs of anxiety/panic and he performs several tasks to prevent an episode or mediate symptoms!
They have animal relief areas in all airports, so he was able to go before and after the flight. It was a little under 7hrs for us, but Woody holds it all night when sleeping so we knew he could go that long... He did great!!
As much stuff as they post about this dog, it is quite odd not once was it mentioned he was a service dog until vacation time. It's not hard to get your dog designated as a service dog and people misuse the designation every day.
@@robertbroadway9753 Well, it kind of is. If anybody can get a service animal vest for their dog everybody will take their dogs on planes including a lot of untrained and poorly behaved dogs and that will cause problems.
@@robertbroadway9753 The wearing of a service vest implies that the dog has been thru specific training and has completed the course with a certificate. I really hate people who claims bearded lizards etc as service animals or emotional support animals. Don’t need detailed medical history but if either adult has a medical condition that woody provides service for … seizure, heart anomalies etc it would do good for others with similar conditions to see how service dogs can make their lives better and eliminate some of the negative stigma associated with having a service dog If woody had a fake vest on then they should go on no fly list and pay a fine. Fake service animals should be cracked down on
Woody is so pleased he's involved in the trip to Hawuii. I didn't realise he was a service dog. Looking forward to your adventures ❤❤
thanks for following along!🤎
My heart cannot take how he just rests his head on your lap. It’s so cute!

Nice to see a well behaved dog on a flight. He behaved better than some passengers!
Say it louder for the people in the back of the plane. ❤
🤣🤣🤣 we're very proud of him, he did great!!
That's amazing you guys were able to bring Woody on the trip with no issues ❤😊

@@thelabwoody My pleasure! ♥
I bet Clarence (the Black Lab from Massachusetts that uses the Siri voice to do all his talking) would be Jelly of Woodie right now.
Clarence has a potty mouth, I stopped listening to him
So happy Woody got to go with you. He’s so good!

@thelabwoody Thats wonderful to hear!
How do you train Woody not to want to go outside for its business, when on a plane!!!! Mainland US to Hawaii is a fair number of hours.
They have animal relief areas in all airports, so he was able to go before and after the flight. It was a little under 7hrs for us, but Woody holds it all night when sleeping so we knew he could go that long... He did great!!
How is Woody a service animal for purposes of being in the cabin on a flight?
Yes, l wondered that too.

It is absolutely none of anybody’s business other than Woody’s parents. He is a service to me and I love him.
