Man, I think I finally figured out where my unnecessarily fast walking when I'm using stairs in the dark has come from. I remember this level scared the shit out of me when I was a kid, and I specifically remember feeling terrified of going down those stairs because I kept thinking a shadow monster was going to come up behind me.
Stu, what are you doing? Making shadow monsters. It's Tommy's bedtime, why on earth are you making shadow monsters? Because i've lost control of my life.
Who you gonna call? Tommy Pickles!! lol xD I was listening to the Ghostbusters theme while watching this. It actually fits very well, specially with all those ghosts/shadow monsters.
That, or the main theme of Luigi's Mansion 1. ruclips.net/video/EHQ43ObPMHQ/видео.html Since I thought this level was like a early predecessor to that game, which came out later on the Gamecube.
I think this used to scare me because this was so much unlike the episode this was based on. 1) In the episode, Tommy’s at least having a sleepover with all his friends, instead of being all alone-which adds to the creepiness. 2) There were absolutely ZERO Shadow Monsters in the TV episode. So being randomly added to the video game level really threw me for a loop.
to get all the puzzle pieces needed you don't need to do all the levels, you can even get puzzle pieces from collecting enough Reptar bars. I used this trick when I was avoiding levels
i used to play toy palace but i would only get the boxes that were not near Thorg as he scared me, i can remember screaming as a child whilst running away
That was an in-game thing. If he ran into an obstacle (I.E. a wall), or ran into an enemy that causes damages (I.E. the Shadow Monsters), Tommy lets out a small grunt, which does kinda sound like a burp in hindsight.
Just like in the TV episode this level is based on, Tommy opened the fridge at the same exact time as his dad Stu fixed the fuse. They don’t show it in the game, but in the final cutscene, they explain it when Stu appears and says “I fixed the fuse, Deed.” This implies that it was done offscreen, so you gotta use your imagination. It also helps if you’ve watched most of the episodes BEFORE playing the game. All the levels in the game-minus the final bonus level-are all based on Rugrats episodes.
Now that I can hear them clearly as an adult without the fear I had at 6 years of age, they don’t sound as scary. But in the dark, all alone, and with creepy, foreboding music? That’s a no-go for a 6 year old. It also didn’t help that they rendered completely flat. So if you looked at them from the side they were an invisible, straight line. And you wouldn’t see them until they turned around towards you, which would sometimes be at the last second.

Making shadow monsters.

Because i've lost control of my life.
I was actually frightened to play this level as a kid. And I played a lot of scary games.
I was too! I managed to avoid even playing it a couple of times, unless I was desperately in need of a puzzle piece!
it is amazing how scary this was, i used to scream whenever a ghost got me
the lucky thing is you don't need to complete every level to complete the game
This was my least favourite level next to Toy Palace - Hence, Thorg.
i used to hate the voyage of Cynthia as i would always hit the walls and lose lives, i found it such a hard level
Who you gonna call? Tommy Pickles!! lol xD I was listening to the Ghostbusters theme while watching this. It actually fits very well, specially with all those ghosts/shadow monsters.
that is a perfect fit what a coincidence you were listening to ghostbusters at this moment

@@Ivanegarcia Awesome, Bro.
2:01 tommy tried to whistle
honestly looking at it now it really wasnt as scary as it used to be
but the toy level still freaks me out
I would do everything possible to avoid playing this level and 7 Voyages of Cynthia.
same here, I would even repeat the same levels to collect Reptar bars just to get enough so I don't need to play those levels

Halo: 6 *POWER P I C K L E OUTAGE*
This was the only level I was too scared to play, and yet I managed to get all the puzzle pieces.

Same here. This is why I see myself as Chuckie. speaking of which, I also collected enough Reptar Bars to avoid Toy Palace.
i used to play toy palace but i would only get the boxes that were not near Thorg as he scared me, i can remember screaming as a child whilst running away
that level didn't bother me as much as Toy Palace
I didn't mind Mr. Friend but Toy Palace was my second feared level.
I rarely did this level because of the ghosts.
I used to try and avoid this level, sometimes i would repeat levels to get enough reptar bars to make a puzzel piece so i didn't have to do this level
WTF is he BURPING?

the ghosts were funny, what was up with the noise they made
i know looking back now its funny but that did scare me when i was younger
i loved the noise the ghosts makes. it is so funny
How the Hell does Light work in A Refrigerator When the Power's Out?
because it was hiding in the fridge
@@alexninten8818 that doent make any sense
It's because Stu fixed the fuse and the power came back on just as Tommy coincidentally opened the fridge.

@@DannydumalIt does to a baby in a diaper. 🤷🏾♂️
