I like the dmr because it reminds me of a gun from val called a guardian, its kinda like a rifle and a sniper hybrid. I like it more when it has a sniper scope or a heat vision scope
One thing that makes the wings really good and barely anyone notices is that if you touch a surface, you can basically cancel the wing but keep the directional momentum. This makes you be able to basically “dash” 9 floors up without the wings actually oppening so you can use your weapons or build while ascending. You can also EJ dash with it using a ramp to basically low pad on command. These also scale with low gravity effects. I realized this potential very early on and used it the entire season and it was really fun and OP because nobody knows or expects a thing like this from the wings lol. It also does not double your hitbox so that is also a factor.
Personally I gotta disagree with the wings placement, I’ve used that thing many times and I actually found a strategy to go faster which is spamming the boost button, plus to top it off if you get the dive down onto the players you can get some distance hits with the bonus of sending them back a bit, so if you want my opinion I’d give it A as I will agree it’s not the best but I definitely disagree with the placement, but hey it’s my opinion and I still do agree with the rest of the tier list tho

Yeah, I LOVE the wings 🪽 and how far I can go especially with I have 2 of them but endgame I’m a slow flying target. I’ve died hitting the ground. It’s also hard to control in tight areas where you’re looking to land in a very specific spot. It’s waste time and messes you up if the storm has closed in tight, you end up gliding outside the clear into the storm and your dead there too if your life line is low. I gotta get better with the thunder bolts. Looks cool but the theatrics of it before you can actually start racing down thunder leaves plenty of room for your target to move all over the place including behind a rock or off a hill or mountain. All that movement by the time you jump up, have the bolt then send it down. Looks cool though.
That thunderbolt is even worse than the hammer pump shotgun haha. I've never seen anyone get a kill with it aside from bot opponents. It's so easy to kill someone using the thunderbolt when they're in the air.

I disagree with the Huntress DMR placement. While it takes some time to control, it is extremely useful when you get the hang of it. I also think it’s better than the sniper because if you use the sniper, it is insanely hard to hit a shot both at long and close range. With the Huntress DMR, it’s more forgiving. If you miss a shot, it has better fire rate, so you can get another shot in. It’s also the best weapon for shooting down players using the Icarus Wings. I just feel like the sniper this season is D-tier.
@@tyluhfryzgamingIt’s doesn’t do EVERYTHING better. The Sniper has a very harsh Recoil and a low fire rate with low stability compared to the DMR, it is also inaccurate and has a lot of Bloom. So it’s easy to miss a shot and if you do, you are pretty much dead against someone with a DMR. I still try to use the sniper more often but it’s just not as effective as the DMR is at Long Range and Close Range. At Medium Range, it’s ok but still not my go to weapon when engaging.
I would understand if you don't like the Huntress DMR complete. Of course. The reaper is likely still better overall however... Like the Reaper... It's incredibly fucking broken. Use it more learn to hit your shots with the Thermal and Eagle Eye scopes and you'll always be hitting over 60 with 200 meters. It's bullet dropoff is very manageable, Zeus's one does 75 DAMAGE AND 131 HEADSHOT, and if you get Ares medal it does 79 body and 138 headshot 💀. Trust me it is broken. Do not listen to the name.
And what gets me about this gun is... You would think the ammo reserve of 7 would mess with it but... It really doesn't. It lets you save so much medium ammo that you can run the Warforged and Huntress in the same setup easily without any issues.
DMR would be actually a very good long range replacement for the sniper as Zeus' mythic DMR can 2 shot ppl with headshot and does like 80 or 90 body dmg..... IF THE SNIPER WAS ACTUALLY VAULTED..... What are you doing EPIC??? Why add a good replacement for a weapon that was OP for 3 months and not vault that weapon, so the new weapon won't even get used.
The wings are pretty mid and I agree that it needs a speed buff. I don't keep Wings in my inventory and only use it to move around the map when I don't have a vehicle or if I don't have Shockwaves.
DMR D TIER U MAD? 😂😂 Yes the sniper diffs it to the moon and backs but its still a very good mid-range weapon, especially with the thermal scope. And unlike the sniper, it has good accuracy without zooming in so you can hit no-scopes wayyy easier
Yeah, wings just are not good, as said wings cause you to have two additional hitboxes. THAT BEING SAID, I must VEHEMENTLY-DISAGREE about the Gatekeeper merely being S-tier. Frenzied auto was god-tier in S1, but it was heavily nerfed in S2. Lowered shot range, greater damage falloff, and painfully-slow reload even with a speed mag. Gatekeeper with the drum mag is 2x faster on reload, and a lot better range and overall DPS.
I completely understand why you put the wings at c but I would put them at b because it's a good way to get to high ground and 3rd party and dive bombing at someone is a decent attack to start a fight.
The wings are really fun and good to use, but I agree with what you said it’s bad when you get shot. BUT that’s why I don’t tend to use it when in battle or next to other players that can see me, I usually use it just to get from one place to another
The wings suck because the hitbox is massive. Sniping flying players is so easy. Lightning bolt on it's own isn't that good, but if someone third parties with it or uses it mid buildfight it is so annoying. All shield basically gone instantly and it can hit through walls. Basically a rocket launcher on steroids. Not a fan of it. DMR I like but snipers are just objectively way better. New SMG is pretty bad and burst is still king. New Shotgun I think is ass, it can do okay damage sometimes but feels so inconsistent and all the others outperform it for me. Auto deals comparable damage with more ammo and better firerate. Pump is the pump. The new AR however I think is nuts, it melts everything.

Wholeheartedly disagree. All of these weapons are F tier. I will take a grey pistol over gold one these. Shotgun ammo capacity is trash. Recoil and bloom on an smg. Same with AR. Floating target mode lightning bolt only good against unaware enemies and bots. Wings abused by players that just want to avoid fights. The new weapons seem to be put in to punish people who don't use M&K. It sucks so bad I wish I hadn't got the BattlePass.

The thunderbolt is vulnerable yes, HOWEVER if you have Cerberus medallion you can actually use the dash ability while in the air using the thunderbolt! So if you time the movement and bolts you have some way to move around while in the air making you a harder target
counter argument wings of icarus are pretty cool the animations are clean satisfying deals insane building dmg(i play zero build learn in floor is lava they destroy anything that isnt metal) can dmg trough structures so 60 dmg trough walls plus the dash makes u go haha bird u are the word now

The wings of Icarus are the best movement item in terms of fun, but not great for actual mobility.
I love them, super fast mobility and you can Dodge easily. You're most vulnerable when you try and dive.
Oh, also for the Thunder Burst, try putting a laser sight on it. ZERO BLOOM.

Diving down allow you to stand still for a second and the amount of snipes I have it already with that is insane
The wings count as your body, so whenever anyone uses it I instantly kill the out of the air.

The DMR was the best long range weapon in season 2.
This is because the bullet travel was much more precise and the bullet drop was much less after they nerfed the sniper a bunch in season 1.

Bugging on the shotty. That thing smacks, especially if you get a drum on it. So much more forgiving at range than the auto too.

I think the hit-box is too big. Getting hit in the wings and counting as damage is wayyyy too strong for the player shooting

For the icarus wings you can use the dodges which makes it harder for you to get hit

I can get behind putting the bolt that low, especially with the nerf. But not the AR.

Your hotbox is huge with the wings. If the wings get shot, you take damage. It's a free kill
if you get shot by 2 people or even 1 with good aim you are js dead
