Wow, I'm from Finland and it's amazing to see how different and cool roads are in the U.S! I will definitely move to the U.S in the future. Although Finland is nice at winter, it's very depressing all the other time of the year and you can't drive long road trips or even own a good car because of the taxes being so high.
US loves Finland! So, Las Vegas is only the 24th largest city in the US while Salt Lake City is 117th. Another good trip from Vegas is to Los Angeles (but better the other direction). While it is one of the most scenic desert trips, you will get a VASTLY different experience if you do any of these: 1) San Diego/Los Angeles CA to San Francisco CA., Orlando (or Jacksonville) FL to Miami FL then continue on to Key West FL, and 3) Washington DC thru NYC to Boston. 4) H1/H2/H3 on Oahu Hawaii. You'll swear it is 4 different countries. Each of those has no stops required at all (same as all US Interstates) but would be about a full day trip continuous.

There are certainly some incredible roads in America!
