I took your advice to guard the man and saw the change in her disposition but she took the money her ex husband offered her from his inheritance. I never looked back, filed for joint and legal custody and finished my double bachelors and never messed with her again. All communication was and remains limited to the child with zero pleasantries. I still deal with her unsavory behavior, harassment via the courts, and lies she has told about me but I continue to guard the man, because my self- respect and integrity are priceless and are not up for negotiation.
