Justin Tucker has a home ready for him in Canton
No doubt
probably working on his bust rn
It’s waiting on him
They’re ordering new coasters as we speak
I used to have a home in canton
I always love how the losing teams' announcers are trying so, so hard to not just lose it when something like happens. You can hear it in their voice.
Except for Paul Allen, the Vikings radio guy.
@joseph kaczynski Very nice
You’re kidding right?
I’ve been listening to this guy for years and this is the first time he DIDN’T sound upset when they lost.
He was in total awe like the rest of us and probably glad he got to witness history.
Usually Dan sounds like a whiney little brat when they lose. Not the case this time.
Well us lions fans are used to this a numb to it by now
It’s hard for team radio announcers to stay as calm as possible when their favorite team is on the bad end of a great play. They also have to make sure not to get too excited when their team does something good. It’s not a job I could do for sure.
For the 2nd time in franchise history, the Detroit Lions are beaten by the longest field goal in NFL History. In 1970 the New Orleans Saints Tom Dempsey kicked a then NFL record 63 yard field goal to beat the Detroit Lions 19-17 on the last play of the game. Baltimore's Justin Tucker did it again today with the now NFL record 66 yard field goal. And yes the final score is exactly the same 19-17. Talk about irony or just plain coincidence.
The NFL is just wierd. There's so many coincidences it's honestly hard to tell if it's real. The Eagles Superbowl Season. They go 13-3, play the Vikings, Falcons, and Pats on the playoffs. The 2004 Season they go 13-3 play the Vikings Falcons and Pats in the playoffs. The 2 seasons were 13 years apart. They played the same 3 teams in the playoffs.
The Falcons have been blowing Leads for decades.
The Jets have an ineptitude unmatched, and have a habit of making plays with their asses. There's many more. But sometimes you really think about it.
They have had more losses by way of record-long field goals than they have had playoff wins in that same stretch.
The Lions make history for all the wrong reasons 😲😂
If there's a higher force above us (God, Fate, Nature... you name it), it hates the Lions with a passion. It loves to toy with them, only to deliver a painful blow.
That is EXACTLY what I thought of when I heard this kick on the radio. I remember clearly that very Sunday 51 years ago when Dempsey hit his, and how it was later reported and replayed on a late CBS Television network newscast. I even remember the Saint's preceding plays that led up to it, with the last being Billy Kilmer hitting Al Dodd on a quick sideline pass to stop the clock with 2 seconds to go. The only circumstance that was really different about the two kicks is Dempsey's happened in Tulane Stadium in New Orleans (Saint's home field) whereas Tucker's was right in front of Detroit's hapless fans.
At least all of them called the kick accurately unlike the Vikings announcer from last week.
Dog come on😔
You right though🥲
You got to be kidding me 😭😭 boy was hurt
Or the rams announcer in 2018, “it’s up and it’s, COD!”
Almost all. One of them said it was good as it bounced - it did end up bouncing through, but the guy was premature and could've easily had egg on his face just like the Vikes announcer.
Switched this game on at the last second after the Saints game today and I was like "Oh my God are the Lions going to win a game for once?" and saw that the Ravens were about to attempt a 66-yard field goal and I was like "No chance in Hell. I am sure he's probably really disappointed, he's got a streak of 49 field goals in a row and about to lose it on what's basically a borderline impossible field goal and OH MY GOD HE MADE IT!"
actually he lose it earlier lol and take the frustration to this kick
The stat is actually 49 (50 after that beautiful kick) in a row in the 4th quarter or overtime.
Tucker actually broke his consecutive streak on his first fg attempt of the game of 49 yards but hit every other fg and xp the rest of the game
@@muhammadihsan4896 I must have misread the stat when it came up in the game I thought it said he had made 49 fg's up to that point
@@voteZDLR In the 4th Qtr or OT
I've got to give it to Harbough for having the confidence to put him out there for that field goal I know I would have not kicked the field goal
That’s 2 weeks in a row with great calls. Field goal attempt this week. Going for it on 4th and short last week against chiefs
That's twice the Ravens squeaked by!
With 3 seconds to go in the forth, you either throw it up or let the kicker have a go. Either way it's a hope it works. Field Goal just in range to have a go no point in a Hail Mary.
if this guy gets a chance to kick a field goal in Denver that's good from 70+
so you would give it to lamar to throw it 50+ yards? instead of a hall of fame kicker
Feel for the Lions radio announcers though, what a way to lose a game
At least they seamed happy for Justin Tucker on a personal level
They're probably used to losing in ridiculous ways
@@bw-leftturnracing7779 cursed
Of the three calls.....the Lions' announcers were the best in actually describing the play.
Don’t feel bad for us. Not only are we used to this, but a majority of us knew that was going through the uprights.
I don’t even watch the Lions anymore. It’s pointless. The team is cursed and will be until the Fords sell the team…
…meaning they’ll be cursed forever. 🤣👍
Seriously. We’re fine. 🤣👍
Even the stadium staff were celebrating 🤣
A GOOD DAY TO BE A RAVENS FAN
but terrible for a cheifs one
@@quin3553 True

“The hay is in the barn.” That’s one I don’t hear very often.
"The hay is in the barn" is Gerry Sandusky's signature call when the Ravens clinch a win.
Job is done
It’s a B-more thing.
Been saying it on the local feed since the Ravens began
Ravens radio broadcasters say it after every win
@@glassman1533 Ravens radio guy is named Gerry Sandusky? That's unfortunate lol
2:50, bottom right, funniest shit I’ve seen in a long time.
lmao my guy pulled a hammy
Lol trying to high step when you too old

Thank you for pointing that out! 😂😂
I was about to comment this!!! So good
i love how the ravens radio announcer was like "youve just seen history" then noticed people on the radio cant see it so he changes it to "you have just seen and heard history" LOL
0:51 Gerry Sandusky
The Lions’ Radio announcer was like: NO, NO, NO, NO. HOW CAN THAT HAPPEN??😂
Answer:The refs hate the lions
BECAUSE ITS THE EFFIN LIONS.
@@Ether_Is_Based *the Lions hate Detroit
Uhhhh. Were you listening to the same call we were? 🤦♂️
Ask the Vikings announcers
Bro Tucker got more fantasy points on that kick than McCaffrey had all week lol
Oh the pain
The whole week? How is this possible?
@@dcunited01 he got a hamstring injury and will be out for like 3 weeks it's sucks cause he was popping off for me in fantasy😕

He better not ever have to buy a beer in Baltimore. Legendary
Now just imagine for a second if this game was at M&T Bank Stadium, The place would have exploded!
Wouldn't of tried it there. Open air stadiums will never see a kick that long made and doubtful even attempted. .

I liked the "fan view", it gives you a better idea of just how far that kick was!
yeah 66 yards is absurdly far and it doesn't really show on TV
When they had the camera locked on him and the trainer in the warm up area you can just see how excited and how ready he was to make his fans go nuts. He was just bursting with confidence.
That is the kick Charlie Brown, always wanted to make. Lucy, works for the NFL.
he was doing this in college at texas. in the last game against atm, he tore the hearts out of the aggys in 2011 with time running out to seal the win for the longhorns, 27-25.
As a a&m fan it hurts double knowing that the last time we played texas we lost, but that it was because of Justin Tucker
Shoutout to that lions announcer for keeping his cool
Fr I would have been cussing and shit
For real this is why you don’t hire die hard fans to be announcers. This guy was cool as a cucumber and gave a great call. Literally anyone else in that stadium that wasn’t a Ravens fan would’ve eaten their microphone
Honestly, even if he was a hardcore fan, I feel like they'd still be cool about it. At least in the immediate. Witnessing literal history is awesome, even at your team's expense.
Dan Miller is far from a good announcer. I still miss Mark Champion. He would at least criticize the team when they suck (which is most of the time)
Tucker the goat, put him in the hall of fame easily
0:35 I love #75 on the Lions' expression, not even upset or mad, just thinking "are you serious?"
Also, 2:38 you see in Tucker's setup that he gives himself a little extra room than the normal runup so he can get a little extra to kick it further.
The pulled hammy on the fans camera shot is one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen. You have to see it. Far right around 253. Hope that man didn’t hurt himself too bad.
lol i can’t believe you caught that
lmao nice catch
I had to scroll so far to find this comment hahahahaha Thank god someone else saw this hilarious moment
2:17 Thank you Curtis B for your view of the game. I needed to see the distance in that kick
Thank you Highlight Heaven for finding it and putting it all in a compilation!
I hope Canton has enough room for Justin Tucker’s entire leg. Lol
Nobody will let the Lions live this down.
They've already lost like this. They'll continue to lose like this. It means nothing.
@@mottdropsie Not to this degree tho, they've lost to long FG's, but not a record breaking one.
@@NightsabreX They literally lost 19-17 to the saints on a Tom Dempsey 63 yard record breaking field goal. They were the team from the previous broken record.
It's almost as bad as the Hail Mary that Aaron Rodgers threw as time ran out for Green Bay to win....Lion's fans were so dejected after that game....
What everyone should REALLY be talking about was the Lions letting up a huge play on 4th and 19 to set that up. HOW ??????????????????
I can't believe the film crew got only one angle. For a historic kick! Thanks to that fan's phone recording to see it from a different view.
Lol right! The broadcast angle makes it look like the ball hits an invisible wall after the bounce when it really hits the net. The fan angle really shows what happen.
The fan view is incredible
💯
Looking at that Fan view…Tucker’s body language was that of, “LET’S DO THIS!" Not a shred of doubt!
Pay this dude QB Money (40+ million a year)
He’s done many things for us in the past 9 years
This man is flat out the greatest
My friends and I all had the Ravens in our survivor pool. When it was 4th and 19, my one buddy goes, that’s it dude, we’re out. I said, normally I’d agree, but if there’s any team that can still blow it, it’s the Detroit Lions. Then the Ravens got the first down, and then the field goal, and we went apeshit.
Sorry we almost blew your Survivor Pool in week 3 lol. The crazy part is the game shouldn't have been as close as it was. We probably win by double digits if Marquis didn't drop easy passes that would have went for Touchdowns. I'm just happy for this channel because I was looking to find the Lions radio call to hear their reaction to this and it didn't disappoint me. Sorry to the Lions fans the refs didn't call delay of game, I remember yelling at my TV for Lamar to snap the ball and then the refs just ignored it. I think Campbell has you guys on the right track, you've shown more fight in three games with him than trying things the Patriot way.
Who else saw a coach celebrating and pull a hamstring at 2:50
LOL
You'd have to be standing next to Justin just get the full impact of how amazingly difficult a 66 yard kick is! Remember this; Both of our (Ravens) Super Bowl wins were primarily thanks to our kickers Matt Sover and the Great opera singer, Justin Tucker. AMAZING!😃
I have no words for that amazing scene unfolding. Historic, poetic, and tragic all at the same time.
Football is awesome, here's another reason.
You can’t spell “pain” without “lions fan” 😥
ah yes spelling
This is true I seen this and was so upset
Wtf?

Love listening to be Gerry's commentary. The hay is in the barn!
I had just received a Justin Tucker jersey at the beginning of the season. I wore it that day. My uncle's funeral was that day and I wore it to the service. It brought some joy to the family 😊
The Detroit lineman at 2:12 seemed like he was more so impressed about the kick being made than disappointed about losing the game. Like, "You know what, I can't even be mad that we lost. That was one hell of a kick he just made."
He had that "whatareyagonnadoaboutit" half smile goin on. It's like, yeah, took an L. But if he made that he deserved to make it.
That's a good sport there! He knew it was a fantastic kick and could not take it from him!
That was the most amazing field goal kick that I have ever seen and Justin Tucker has made history for his 66-yard field goal kick. That was fantastic!! Justin is the man🏈🏈🏈
Yeah this ain't never gonna be broken unless a damn robot enters the NFL

@@kaimiller5956 that's literally the firdt thing I thought of when saying this😂
Prater missed from 68 by a yard earlier in the Arizona game
Tucker in Denver doing a 69 yarder and then retiring after that season?
Tom Dempsy hit the 63 yard record vs the Lions also
Final score was 19-17 in that game also.
belongs in the hall. you can do this and you've been exceptional your entire career. JT deserves it. Unbelievable kick.
I've been a Huge Fan of the Ravens since 2009, thanks to my son. Tucker has been a favorite of mine since he joined team. Even named my cat after him. I was speechless after seeing kick.
Dammit I just love it man. All this was missing was multiple views of the fans reaction.
If Cris Collinsworth called this game he would have had no reaction to this, he'd have been too busy jabbering about how great Tom Brady is.

This is one of the best highlight films I have ever seen because of the fan video at the end. That was perfect. Kudos to Curtis B for getting that video. Curtis B, that was AWESOME!!!
That one kick by itself was about the same amount of yardage that the Bears had passing in their whole game today LOL
Justin tucker for president omfg he's heaven sent. Whoop whoop!!!
The Raven's radio announcer is a true ravens fan. Incredible reaction
Radio guy: "You've just SEEN history!"
I doubt this record will be broken in either of our lifetimes.
I love how quiet it got when the ball was in the air
That ravens radio call by Sandusky never gets old 🥹

That's just freaking incredible.
The fan view is the best of all. Curtis B captured everything. Way to go, man!
It really was the best.....I liked his video more than the others!!!
I'll never cease to be amazed at how fast this channel works.

"THE HAY IS IN THE BARN!"
they must be from texas
That is Sandusky's signature quote since he became the voice of the Ravens on 98 Rock/WBAL in 2006.
You know shit was crazy when you got the yard stick man cheesing with excitement love to see that positive energy it’s make moments like this more cool respect to justin tucker
All 3 Ravens games have had insane endings
With Tucker hitting that field goal, the success rate of kicking field goals of 65+ in the NFL is now 25% (well above the 9.7% success rate of a Hail Mary). Granted it was 0% until yesterday (only 3 in game attempts prior to yesterday). Probability in the 60 - 64 range (more attempts for better samplings) indicates kicking is better than a Hail Mary as well. Obviously you have to know if your kicker has the leg strength, but if he does - the field goal is the correct call.
Just amazing!
Fan view was cool. Thanks for the coverage.
This is the 2nd time that the Lions have lost in field goals kick record. The 1st 1 against the Saints with Tom Dempsey for a 62 yarder. Now again with another breaking field goal record of 66 yards.
2:50 Look at bottom right corner. That assistant coach stumbling over was hilarious!
JT the Lion killer in one of the greatest plays in NFL history. Boo Ya .
I love that first one tho gotta admit
Im happy for Justin but mad at the refs.
The Ravens Radio broadcast was more lit than the the other ones tbh
Meanwhile the Vikings can't make a chip shot XD
There's a difference between average talent compared to an alltimer lol
That field goal distance will not be broken in many years to come if ever. Amazing
I don't see that being broken
That kick calls for my request: Longest Field Goals made (60+ Yards) as of today, September 26, 2021
The holder literally moving grass clippings out of the way. He knew his job, and he performed it perfectly.
Also that poor Lion's fan recording the last clip. (Clearly was a Lion's fan as they weren't jumping for joy like everyone else after the kick)
Canton to Justin Tucker: "We have your bust ready for you as soon as you retire."
Tucker's leg: "Were not ready just yet...."
Detroit Lions: " Did this really just F'N HAPPEN???!!"
That Raven coach tearing his quad while celebrating will forever be hilarious
I was SO lucky to witness this live in a bar. I was the first one SCREAMING at how amazing it was.
Did you notice that the Lions defenders on the outside hardly bothered to rush? They took maybe two steps forward and immediately turned to watch the ball.

I love how excited his team was for him too
On the fan cam, I like that Tucker's already downfield by the time the camera pans from the uprights back to the field of action.

I was waiting for foreign announcers, but saw it was only a three minute video. Watched it on TV and was amazed!
Shout out to *Curtis* *B* ! Your view and video was just the best...the *BEST* !!!! 🏆
Pretty impressive that the Lions have now let Justin Tucker kick not one, but TWO 60+ yard field goals to beat them in his career. Tucker hit a 61-yarder to beat Detroit in 2013. Also, both were at Ford Field and both bounced off a crossbar. 🤷
He’ll play another 8 years so so he can kick there again.
Thank you for sharing this
I am a Ravens fan and this also shows how much John Harbaugh trusts Justin Tucker. To put him out there with the game on the line and having him attempt a 66 yard field goal is crazy. But this was incredible
"These legs don't work like they used to."
Bottom right at the 2:50 mark :'D
I love watching this, not a fan of either team but if I was a lions fan I wouldn’t even be mad. They saw nfl history.
