This song reminds me of a girl I met in 7th grade, her name was Johanna, I don't remember how we met but I had her in my social studies class and in my science, that year we became best friends, we'd hang out with each other after school and talked about our future together until it was dark, I'd walk her home in the winter in the cold with nothing but a sweater sometimes even though I lived miles away from her but I didn't care as long as I knew she was home safe, in the summer we couldn't hang as much because I disliked the heat and I stopped liking going out, eventually we slowly stopped talking to each other but she would check up on me from time to time but it wasn't like before, we were no longer as close as we used to be. I miss her sometimes but it's okay because she is happier than she was before now and I'm happy for her.
She might look happier than before, but note that it isnt because you're no longer at her side... I can 100% relate to being happy for someone whom we love and care about, even tho we're not the reason of that happiness, and honestly i dont have any good advice to share. But im sure you'll eventually either get back together and find someone even better, even if that's hard to believe in :) just hang in there mate! We'll all eventually be happy, like we were never before
if she checks up on you from time to time, you should do the same tbh and make everything the way it was, maybe she looks happier now, but not because she's not hanging out with you anymore, new things came into her life and maybe if you get back into her life it would make her happier
today is my birthday (happy birthday to me lol) maybe one of these days ill get the courage to talk to her again in hopes of repairing our friendship. I don't have any now, sometimes it's better to leave things as they are and I think that it's time for me to let go. I hope to become better and mature person in the future, until then.
