    Please also mention that in general sql writing, little advanced level....joins are fast and parent-child are not used

      yes in the 1. sql query if you dont use last two line then it will join just e and d tables

    Hi ,Its very informative indeed but just to add that if you are showing the columns please include the common column eg. e_id to show the results as well because then u need to add table refernce with all the columns details when selecting SELECT and still the second method won't work to join the columns , if it would still join including the common columns , please let me know because that 'll open another dimension for me . Thank u so much for sharing again , it helped a lot.

    Will it also be correct to write d.d_id = dp.d_id ??
    Or must you write the primary key first?? Cos d_id is a primary key in department

    Great video! I have been using the Parent-Child relationship model for 20+ years! I did not know it had a name. Also, I never could figure out how the JOIN keyword worked in SQL, so I always avoided it. Now I understand it better from this, and your other videos. Thanks! :)
