Pocket-Sized with Big Impact?
I do like this set of lights, they all fit into my bag along with my Blackmagic.
One thing I didn't hit on in this video was battery life as I wanted to use them for some time before giving my opinion.
Charge time is around 3 hours and I only got 35 minutes from the RGB lights at full power and around 40 minutes from the standard fill light. So I feel you still need to have them plugged in if you are on set or at a venue.
If you are taking them out and about I would recommend plugging them into a V-Mount. So in this case, you may want to take out a different set of lights.
But if you are filming on or around Cars, these will definitely fit into small locations.
BUT - The big CON of this light and it has already cost me time... The buttons.
FAR too easy to knock the buttons and change settings. But I took my camera out with the lights. the lights fit into my bag along with my lenses. Perfect fit.
When I went to get my camera out, one of the lights had been knocked and it switched it on.
It was red-hot and dead. It charged up and is fine but I worry that if they are in my camread bag/case and I need them powered this could catch me out.
