Would you build up encouraging the dog to come back to you to play using a long line? My 5 month old pup will just take the tug after i release it and go lay down to naw on it

Wanted to ask you a question do you think pitbulls are bad dogs?
I stay in South Africa, I don't have a pitbull, just wanted your opinion another young boy got killed by their neighbours pitbull last week.
The dog owners gate never look properly secured.
Now the country is demanding to ban pitbulls in our country.
Do you blame the dog or the owner?
To me they not bad dogs if properly trained.

I don’t think they are ‘bad’ dogs. BUT, they have very specific genetics that are designed for very specific things. They are not genetically designed to hang out around the house and kids living as pets. I know there are exceptions to this rule, but exceptions don’t change the rule 🙏🏼
My malinois is scared in general. Any tips on how to get her more secure and finally not having to see her tail always inside under her belly?

Hey. I get the video. This is a powerful dog, but loves playing with you. I bet, if you sat down and ignore this guy, the dog would eventually place the toy in your lap. The OUT command is powerful. Or RELEASE, GIVE, etc... Probably the only thing I worry about are people who do not understand the reason behind this. Kind of hard to explain in a short video. Thank you for the vid.

When my 2yr old Malinois gets excited while playing, he goes for my grandchildren. He nips them (and it hurts) Any advice?
We do daily training with him, but I don't know how to control him when the kids are running around. He is a house dog and sleeps in my room. Very protective and that make him dangerous for the kids. Please help
I would NEVER have a loose Malinois around kids. They are not pet dogs and not designed for this scenario.
