Doesn't matter where you make your home. Whether in Saskatchewan or elsewhere in Canada, there's something special about small town life. Makes a person appreciate it, that much more. Also...heal quickly, Dick.
I found your channel through one of the political videos and was totally engaged by your articulation of issues we need to hear. I then went through your channel and came to enjoy ALL of your videos, your excellent knack for comedy and video editing had me in fits of belly laughter all yesterday watching your videos. I would love to see more of the farming stuff though! I have a super keen interest in agriculture and am very intrigued by what you do on a seasonal basis, I watch farming youtubers from all over the world but have not watched anything Canadian yet and its clear you guys have to farm in a pretty different way! Would be really interested to see each season broken down with all your tasks and the challenges you face unique to Saskatchewan farmers. Great videos, love from little New Zealand.
Nice video. Glad to see you having some fun. I'm just a neighbor to the south, also a small towner (Elbridge NY) and it's amazing how, at the core, we have the same problems and the same fun. We're in the same fight for our freedoms, and the citizens of North America need to work together. I'm not sure which of us is worse off right now - feels like an episode of the Twilight Zone. One thing is for certain we need to get through this situation together. Your efforts are helping that happen, and it's appreciated on both sides of the border. Love your videos, keep up the great work spreading common sense and kindness!
Look like you're having fun right up until you damaged yourself lol, old age catches up in a hurry and he don't even see it coming sometimes!! So glad to see car shows and sports going on again, thanks for another great video, hope you feel better very quickly, cheers from Ontario!!
THIS IS AWESOME! Grew up in a small town left after high school then ended up coming back and starting a business here. But love to see this cause small town life is so simple and amazing good hearted folks they would give there shirt off there back for ya.
Oh you are so right about that I lived in a little town and just loved it . When my car broke down on a little back road and no cell service and a farmer happened to see me he told me back to gravelburg and I tried to pay him he said no I am not taking your money I gave him a hug and a big thankyou. So I loved my little town .
Excellent QDM, It is not only Saskatchewan small town but small town all over Canada where memories are made and character is built. Loved that station wagon with wood sides. Cheers And yes Do not drink and drive.
Good morning and a belated Happy Saskatchewan Day! You’re absolutely right -small town Saskatchewan is a great place to call home. It sounds like that was a pretty intense slo-pitch game! I hope those ribs heal quickly. May all our bad decisions help us to make better ones!
Great show, had a bad scare this spring myself. Thought I had broke my back. Made one realize how short life is, so I went and bought a boat and enjoying fishing and enjoying every minute of it.
Good to see you folks are having some great fun out there! And nothing wrong with a little late July/early August rain..crops and hay and pastures should drink that in quickly!
Just had a flash back of sports days in Archerwill back in the 70-80s. Something for all ages, kids games and events, ball games, crown and anchor, bingo, beer gardens, sunburns and goofing around. Great video QDMD
I’ve lost so many times at Crowns & Anchors that my brothers (3) thought I was cursed. What is great about growing up in a small town or community is the love and help from your friends and neighbours (99% of them at least… there’s always one crazy guy). Thanks for sharing your Saskatchewan Day with us! Cheers!
You must have been lucky enough to dodge all those storms we had the last few days. Looks like everyone had a good time! Edit - You should add some window decals to your merch store!! I'd definitely sport one those on the back window of the truck
"Only a few cracked ribs"...seriously, Quick Dick! Who's gonna take care of the farm if you're out of commission? Hopefully, you've learned your lesson. Thank you for giving a "shout out" to small towns! My husband and I have travelled to many parts of the world (Europe, Australia, even the Middle East) but we love hopping in the truck and pulling an RV just so we can check out small towns! We love them! The thing about a small town is that there's pretty much ALWAYS something interesting to see or do...and usually there's something going on. There's an expression that "travel is the only thing we buy that makes us richer" and for us that will ALWAYS include the small towns and the people that we've encountered along the way. Small town proud here in Thamesford, Ontario!
*You'll have to come check us out Sept long weekend for the grand opening at the old Archerwill hotel. My wife and I just bought the place and are in the midst of renos. Pop in for a bite and meet some locals*
Happy BC day back at ya QDM. I have lots of family back in Sask. So Happy Saskatchewan Day back at ya. Lived in many a small town over the years, it was the bests of times. Had a parade in one town for Canada Day. There were no people on the streets to watch, EVERYONE WAS IN THE PARADE And not to forget the Fish Bake on the BC day weekend. Whole town showed up at the Rod and Gun club. Too much fun. Careful with those ribs, been there, done that. It is no fun at all. Get well soon.

Well you made my day (10:00am working remotely--took a break). Ever hear of Les Benjamin? He was inducted into the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame the Same year as Sachel Page. He was a founding member of the Sask-Alta League when he lived in Richmound and in 1968 became a member of parliament for Regina Lake Centre. Fastball, Slow Pitch, T-ball ... it's all baseball to me and there is nothing better than small town Sask baseball in the summer. I was born in Maple Creek and lived in Richmound for 7 years.

That’s some serious drone piloting, QDM. This video takes me back to my beer slinging days for slowpitch tournaments in Niagara Falls. All the NHL players attracted herds of bat bunnies. Made for an interesting weekend.
