Your work is gorgeous. I started out doing found object sculpture. I love the idea of making art from what others perceive as junk. Collage is a similar experience. Beauty from scraps!

I like this - and the whistling. It added to the relaxed casualness of it all. I wonder how you keep all your bits organised though? I'm using a file folder with general labelling just now, but already I can tell its not going to be enough, haha!

not bad. personally whenever i use black and white I contrast it with cutouts from 60s magazines. It stands out more, but because the magazine colors in the 60s were mellow the contrast isn't too sharp.
That's right. I like also the magazines more from 50 and 60s. But the magazin what I used in the movie was from 70s. The paper of that time was very good also :-)

Very interesting and cool. I recently did a will smith college making him out of just magazine paper for an art project. I wanna try this type of college next.

this is great! I love to see someone majing art from what others might throw out or disregard. What I wonder, can you use pictures from a magazine and create art that is sellable or is it considered copywritten.mHow much does it have to be altered?
I'm experimenting on collage but I guess I need to learn patience in collecting images and not just dump whatever together.
Interesting, I never used spray adhesive myself, usually my style weaves the pieces in and out of other things, so that wouldn't work. Great stuff though, would like to use some of it for the mag if you're interested
I prefer the ASMR instead of the music...its more engaging your process.

It is adhesive spray, get from a craft shop.
