The increasingly progressive nature of the band's output is only possible because of Miku's solidity as a rhythm guitarist, she is like a musical rock that Misa and Kanami can swirl around in all their virtuosity. I sometimes think that this may have been part of Kanami's cunning plan, to create exactly the rhythm guitarist she would have wished for.

My theory is Kanami quietly asked the management to act like it was their idea to have Miku strap an ax on. I bet it was her idea all along... and she will never tell.
What Miku can do better than most of us:
1. has a good eye for people
2. cares for band members (this is what Mincho says)
3. promotes Band-Maid
4. writes very intriguing lyrics
5. takes on bad luck of other members
6. endures pain
7. plays games (poker, internet shooting game, etc.)
8. spares no effort
9. lives much longer than ordinary human beings
10. makes us smile and happy

Of all the Maids Miku is the greatest "entertainer." She has grown as a musician, thanks to her band. And she has encouraged the other Maids to be more outgoing. The MC times are so special. Miku has brought the others out of their shells... This is her magic.
So she has grown as an artist, and she has pushed her mates to grow as "entertainers."
Not many excuses to needed to watch the Maids!

I agree. Miku stopped being a trainee guitarist a long long time ago. She is a professional and accomplished rhythm guitarist in her own right. Alongside her business sense, lyrical prowess and pure grit, hard work and determination she is one clever little Pigeon. This little lady is a huge inspiration to me and many others.
I hace one word for Miku, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
She has inspired the other Maids also.. they are less shy because of her.
I like that Miku's parts are so evident from this angle! Hard to believe she hadn't even picked up a guitar 10 years ago! Band-Maid is just awesome! Love the Small Pigeon!

Miku is the living spirit of the band, just for starters. Needing to see Kanami's eyes before deciding to contact her is almost too magical to be true. That moment sparked a miracle. and now Miku can speak to our souls through her Zemaitis... (Zemaidis)

I've said it before- there are gret two guitarists in Band-Maid now- playing different elements of the music. Heads Up! Band-Maid to play at the Welcome To Rockville Festival 18-21 May at Daytona Beach, US in 2023. They play on Thur 18. My other fave band Nova Twins are also at this festival- playing on the 21. I should be going?
I would love Band-Maid to come to the UK.
Do Atlanta, If you have one show only skip the festival and get the whole serving. No Magic Spell Time at the festival, lucky for even 45 minutes..

Check out my other Phoenix fan cams.. I'm not making money, just a fan.. A lot of MISA to watch also... but mostly I love hearing how strong Miku sounds in these...
I attended this show and of course, the Maids were great. Akane is an instigator. Miku was working up to Magic Time. Akane walks over to Misa, somehow ends up with Misa carrying Akane like a backpack and Misa starts walking across the stage. Kanami ran up to stop the fun before someone got hurt. It was more than just a show-it was an experience.

Best Omajinai time on the tour. The piggyback ride stole the honors from the Dallas show, which was over the top awesome.

Didn't know you played guitar, BAND MAID fan base reminds me of RUSH musicians seem to be the ones that appreciate complex music, I've noticed a lot of BAND MAID fans are musicians and male

Yes, Band-Maid are awesome all of them.
Miku is like Groucho Marx, in that when in public he was always "on." I have never seen anything Miku does that is not entertaining. It's really quite inspirational to be honest. And as I said, she has apparently inspired her mates to be more outgoing.
I love how MISA has the audience be a bit Japanese and be quiet for her ceremony... Would her beer opening ceremony be a thing if not for Miku? I think not...
