@@thedesensitizedsympathizer5307 I assume you are speaking to both sides, and for the no-fault and the for cause cases, and for both the initiator and the other party. Separation is one of the most stressful things in life for the parties involved. Both sides lose, but in many high-profile cases it sounds like someone walked away with a big pay-day. This certainly isn't the norm. Usually, at best, both sides split the assets after the lawyers have been paid.
I don't know what the suicide rates are in these cases but I expect it to be high. As I said it is very stressful.
