So glad I found this. We're getting tested on this and we haven't gone over a single technique in lab. Idk about anyone else, but I really need to see things to understand them. Clamping the tube, for example, made no sense to me until I saw it. Thank you so much!
Seriously, I don't deserve RUclips. Thanks soooo much for posting this. I'm a nursing student doing fundamentals currently and this is just the explanation I needed. Thanks again!
I love this ladies teachings...there are so thorough.....I call her my youtube internet instructor..Im studying the vocational nursing program and she has helped me prepare.
I liked that she used the 60ml syringe with plunger. I always use that. Always check the residual and chart that. I have never been ordered to check ph but placement yes always. The position of your holding the tube and syringe usually have to be a little more secure since things can slide around so ask your nurse instructor the real life way to hold the tube and syringe. Overall a good video
Good video....are Med Techs actually using pH paper now to "check for placement"...I didn't learn that 20 years ago in RN school...never even mentioned.
Excellent Video.. But I don't understand what she is saying from 2:30 to 2:33.. something like "I want to hit merge with the water out and I want to hit merge with the Ensure out". If anyone can elaborate please help. I hate to miss anything because these are such great vids. Thanks!

Love your demo videos. Very professional, yet friendly and helpful. I hope to be half the nurse you are someday.
I'm reviewing my skills for a new job. This lady i great! I'd pay her for a full review--even before I get the job.
