Biafra News: Biafra Government In Exile Takes STAND Against Oppression!
The Biafra Republic Government in Exile, led by Prime Minister Simon Ekpa, has officially invited global media houses to cover the upcoming Declaration of the Restoration of Independence of Biafra convention. The event will take place from November 29th to December 3rd, 2024, in Lahti, Finland. This convention is expected to draw significant international attention as Biafra continues its push for self-determination.
In other news, Norwegian authorities have detained Lucas Cho Ayaba, leader of the Ambazonian separatist movement, on charges of inciting crimes against humanity. This marks a notable development in Norway’s involvement in foreign humanitarian issues. In response, the Biafra Government has expressed solidarity with Ayaba, reiterating its support for Ambazonia's right to self-determination.
Additionally, the BRGIE announced a lockdown in Biafra territory on October 1st, 2024, as a symbolic protest against Nigeria. The Biafran cabinet also established the Biafra National Regulatory Agency and the Biafra National Broadcasting Corporation (BNBC) to regulate businesses and media under its administration.
On the diplomatic front, the Biafra Republic Government in Exile is engaging with top US lawmakers to raise awareness about the Biafran issue, paving the way for stronger ties between Biafra and the US.
Finally, the Biafra social media app “Freedom Stream” has undergone successful live stream testing and is set to launch in October 2024 as a new platform for promoting freedom of expression.
