This is great advice! I used to do full-on WDW trips where I'd rush around doing as much as possible and would be so exhausted and get terrible blisters on my feet. A couple of trips ago, I had a much longer trip at WDW so was able to slow down, take rests in the day and omg it was a completely different experience!

OMG I have such bad problems with my feet and often get such bad blisters too! They are so painful! I love that we both had the same journey and are now midday break converts!

You are so right. I used to do the same as you but last trip realised that taking a few hours out made the world of difference. I still haven't managed 'The Kiss Goodnight' though at MK. Maybe this time, lol

Yes! It is one of those things that feels wrong but you end up fitting so much more in and have such a better time! Ooh that would be amazing to experience at Magic Kingdom!

Thank you so much for watching Guy! It feels so counterproductive to leave the parks to get more done but it really works!

Doing this works really well for us in Dlp. However in WDW aren’t most hotels like 45mins away??? We haven’t been before but hoping to go in the next few years. Are there better hotels for this than others?

@@louise34567 if you stay on site at Disney World and use the free transportation the hotels aren't too far away which is great news! (About a 20 minute journey). Some hotels have other modes of transport like the monorail which take minutes!
If you stay off site but have a car then Lake Buena Vista and Flamingo Crossing as super close, just a few minutes drive. (With car hire most hotels won't be too far.) But if you were using taxis or stay further afield in Orlando then it might be too time consuming.

So far I have been to WDW twice, with only one park a day and I was always GO GO GO, giving 150% and by the end of the last day my feet were in so much pain haha!! I really wanna take my time and not overwhelm my body so I'm definitely gonna follow your advice🫶🏻💓

The pain is unreal right!?! I think until you have been to Disney no one understand the level of suffering your feet endure! I was always go, go, go too as I didn't want to miss out! But when I was forced to take this break I couldn't believe how much more I fitted into my days! And I felt so much better too!
