I had never cried like this in my life until now. I was remembering the tune in my mind all day, I hadn't heard it in decades. I cried with sadness and happiness at the same time for understanding it today, for the possibility that perhaps I will leave this world with one less crack in my soul.
I heard it in 1995 when I was 6 years old, now I'm 35. I guee I it was disconnection from the animals my parents taught me to eat. I am referring the thinking being, with emotions, the ability to cry, to be sad, to feel fear and also feel joy like us, that existed.
"You think the only people who are people Are the people who look and think like you But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger You'll learn things you never knew, you never knew"...

I remember seeing this in 1995 before the movie came out. It was always so exciting to anticipate the next big Disney film. Anyway, I didn't appreciate what an incredible performance this was then. She really has a powerful, unique voice! It's stunning.

This is a song I’ve heard many times but some days, I just “wake up” and realize how much went into it. I especially appreciate the strings that accompanies this song during the height of “have you ever heard the wolf …”. We 90s kids were LUCKY to have had this in our childhood. I appreciate this kind of music without even knowing it as a kid.

Only discovered Judy Kuhn a few months ago having seen the best live performance of the musical 'Chess' i've ever seen, from 1989. Why this girl didn't become a mega-star i'll never know - there is no justice in this world...

Her singing is so crisp and clean that u can hear every single word so clearly. I also love how it’s so straightforward and on beat instead of the flashy garbage vocalists are doing these days, taking the liberty to slow way down or speed up whenever they please to fish for applause from the audience before the song is finished. Like what singers do to the national anthem.

You can see the story in her eyes and feel it in the vibrations of her voice. She is not just singing but a piece of her is living the story and it becomes real.
