- Castlevania Adventure ReBirth (WiiWare) - Full Playthrough (Normal+Classic). Played by ArekTheAbsolute. Japanese version of the game (Dracula Densetsu ReBirth). In "Classic" mode you can't control the direction of your jump (like in old classic Castlevania), so it's much harder to play.

It's such a shame this only came out on Wiiware, they should release the whole set (Castlevania, Gradius and Contra Rebirth) for Steam and/or the other consoles or even 3DS sometime. They were all fantastic.

Blame it's founder and CEO, he's been pushing Konami into the fitness, exercise, and spa business. terrible idea considering what happened when Namco tried making movies...
And real estate and it's been, unfortunately, working great for years, which is why they've basically walked away from games.
For the Wii, Konami made: Pro Style Batting Cages, Dance Dance Revolution, Def Jam Rapstar, Dewy's Adventure, Elebits, Gormiti, GTI Club and Karaoke Revolution. What an embaressing and lame set of games here, Konami should just declare bankruptcy and give their old legendary titles to a company that can make them shine again. Not this shit they have been shoveling to the Wii since 2006.

Lord how I detest the absence of physical copies of games. Such a shame the industry has been steadily moving this way. This game would have looked beautiful with a shiny box and a beautifully illustrated instruction book in its place on the shelf among its older siblings.
Ked Viper I've thought the exact same thing myself. I'd gladly pay extra for physical copies of certain games.

Its the thrill of seeing stuff like at 18:00 that is the reason that I prefer videos like this to speedruns. In a speedrun, I already know that the player is going to do everything near perfectly. But here, there are times that unexpected things happen, and I can feel the pressure and adrenalin that must have been going through the player at the time.
Beautiful beautiful beautiful game! Great graphics, great music soundtrack, absolutely fxcking great! I have always loved Castlevania. One of the best games ever created. Thanks for the upload!

Wow beautiful visuals and sound as always with Castlevania. I wish they would go back to making 2d sprite based games. they had a charm and uniqueness that 3d games lack. I like 3d games too, but I still go back to old 2d games often. imagine what could be done with todays technology if they made a new 2d symphony of the night style game.

It's a perfect run to me. Isn't like those where players out-run the screen, killing enemies before they appear or making impossible jumps without careful approach. It's like seeing an skilled friend finishing the game.
This and the killer soundtrack (Sunset Riders or Turtles in Time anyone?) makes a perfect watch. Thanks for uploading!

A Nice Play. Almost a no Damage Dracula, the last form seems brutal as always, maybe one of the hardest forms of dracula in my opinion.
This entire game looked easy. Everything was slow and had long warning animations and generally short reach. Damage dealt to the player was really low. It looks like someone made a Castlevania game that mimics the originals, except it wants you to win.
Because I'd love to see Simon Belmont in his new looks in any Castlevania remakes.

My most favorite stage is 5. BGM, clock-like mechanical stage design, and the boss DEATH are cool and exciting!!

This game sounds and looks awesome. Im a nintendo guy, but i have to say this genesis styled soundtrack is awesome!
The game uses the same sound system they used for Turtles in Time.
it's not just the genesis soundtrack, they also used the soundtrack from Haunted Castle Arcade, Castlevania Chronicles
and Castlevania III too (final boss for example)
What I think is purely criminal is the fact they made the Battle of the Holy track for this and decided to go with Reincarnated Soul instead for the first stage. It's okay, but Battle of the Holy fits so much better.
This needs to come to the 3DS e-shop already.

Still pissed that I did not purchase this for my Wii years ago when I had the chance. It was my goal to get all the Konami Rebirth titles. I already had Gradius Rebirth and Contra rebirth, and I was looking forwards to a Jackal Rebirth, possible Lifeforce Rebirth, and who knows what other Konami classics before the company decided to end the rebirth line of games. (Kings Valley Rebirth? One could hope. Heh a Metal Gear Rebirth and SD Snatcher Rebirth would have been in the realm of the impossible)

I have the novel Book of him.. I grew up with Simon Belmont & Trevor-alucard Belmont..my greates Castlevania idols.. & also I love the rebuild of the whole Castlevania universe..Lords of shadows saga..can not wait to play CV los 2 in about 2 weeks from now.. I always thought you deserve a lot more viewers friend. also I do love the last DRACUL fight.. so glad they leave the best most epic battle for last.. truly worthy of Dracul & with the Castlevania 3 song at the end.. that alone made it truly legendary

There's something mildly amusing about the combination of Japanese text and English voices.
The music seems out of place in a Castlevania game.
It's using the Turtles in Time (and I think Sunset Riders?) soundfont. This would be fine in another game, but it's not for a straight-up Castlevania game.
Outside of that, this game looks surprisingly good.
+Gender Neutral Chibi Your lack of information is terrible, all these songs are from past Castlevania and not only that, they are perfect to Castlevania essence.
Dragonnestify Maybe I didn't phrase it well enough. The songs themselves are great, the instruments used (mainly referencing the orchestral hits from Turtles in Time/Sunset Riders) are way too upbeat for this game. Had they arranged the songs differently, this would be a killer soundtrack.
