exactly !! she wasn't unreasonable when she put a distance between her and sj,, she was thinking about her own safety and it should be priority for everyone not to mention she witnessed everything sj did to lbh, she saw how cruel he can be. and after lqg's death she was probably sure he wasn't a good person and she lost all hope (though she secretly wanted to believe he was a good person, and still cared about him)

But for NYY she was probably told several times after things started going bad, which affected the way she viewed thing. If i was NYY in that situation I would probably act the same, like imagine being told by almost everyone you know that your teacher was a lecher and was keeping his eyes on you and then you realize that you are treated a lot more differently compared to your martial siblings, and since you never experienced something like that, you think what people are saying really is the truth
