- Satara Lioness - A wonderful mother! See her caring for Casper the White Lion's two surviving cubs. The two cubs are growing larger and have a good chance of reaching adulthood. Filmed close to Satara Rest camp in Kruger National Park.
GAME DRIVE ETIQUETTE - RULES (SANParks):
- When you come across a sighting, slowly pull over on the side of the road closest to the animal, but keep a safe distance and turn OFF your engine
- If there are animals in the road, immediately stop at least 20 m from them
- The lane furthest from the sighting should NEVER be blocked, so that others can pass if they want to
- Don’t linger longer than a few minutes at a sighting, so that others can view it too
- Never go off the designated roads
- Never climb out of your vehicle during a drive, or hang out of your car windows or sunroof
- Don’t hoot or blare loud music
- Avoid driving into vegetation, as this could damage the environment or kill small animals
- During night drives, never shine a spotlight directly in animals’ eyes
- Never make noise to get animals to move, stand up or otherwise react for pictures
- Respect the rangers, and always comply with their requests or instructions

It's nice to see them getting bigger. I feel bad for her lost cub but at least she have enough food to feed two of her living cubs at this moment. Glad they are getting some nice wind to cool down during the day.
It's funny the older lions ignore the cars, people but the cubs get fixated on the camera and visitors which I find hilarious!

Such a beautiful family. Lions and tigers always reminds me of all my cats, they are smaller but their bites and scratches are damn painful! The youngest cat I have is a champion for biting everyone and every cats! No matter how cute, adorable or fluffy these lions are, they are WILD animals, eat meat, and could kill you in seconds. Beautiful family regardless!

Casper and his brothers don’t have other cubs or sub adult 😮😮😮 ?? They are 10 years now😢
They have had 2 raised to adulthood out of 15. Which statistics say only1 in 8 makes it to adulthood. Sad numbers.
@@buffiesilverVery sad, too sad... 13 on 15 died... but do you mean this happened on a short period, a few months or on the last years ?
@@jpcattaneo8181 this is the statistics for cubs, 1 in 8 males make it to adulthood. Only half of cubs reach their 1st birthday. Not good odds and it seems it's not getting any better as far as numbers. Sad reality that some people don't think about or know, and some just do not care.

A large majority of the people simply do not care about lion's fast declining ... among hundred of other species. I'll be in Kruger next September and want to admire them until it is too late...

Lionesses have a tough life in the wild. They got conquered and got pregnant. Once the cubs are born, they then protect and go hunt to feed them. Lions are like simps and pimps in nature.
How did she lose the cub again 😢.

She lost it a while back. She lost it first time and found it then lost it again and never found it again

@@refi6438 I’ve only known of the three cubs that this lioness had. I can’t recall if any other lionesses have recently had cubs or not.
