Honestly i can see a cool way to introduce nergi bazel style.
Imagine your fighting a kushala and get it weak enough to where it starts limping away. And after you chase it and resume the fight. This theme starts overtaking the theme of the elder your fighting as nergi divebombs into either you or the elder (most likely both)
So essentially my idea is that hes just an elder invader

I mean hey Bazel got vocals in his theme when he came back in Rise so i can definitely see Nergi getting some vocals in his theme as well, would also definitely be nice to see him in Wilds, I really missed him in Rise and Sunbreak :/ (idk if this is an unpopular opinion but I would've preferred to get Nergi over Velkhana in Sunbreak, I love Velkhana but Nergigante is just...well Nergigante lol, seriously though I would have loved to see how he tackled Malzeno or Magnamalo in a turf war)

This helps amplify Nergigante’s savage and primal nature compared to the other, more elegant and refined elders.
I know it kinda happened with Primordial Malzeno in cutscene, but the 2nd image is hyping me up for that moment in mainline where a flagship actually joins us in fighting of the true threat.

Devil gene nergigante mod shown me what nergigante is down to it's core even after beating at nergi in hr gear i didnt understand it till devil gene.
Devil gene is nergigante taken to the next level. It's tail bounces you when enraged showing me it's tail gets harder when enraged.
It shown me that element is not the way to go on nergigante as it is overall more resiliant to them.

Fatalis and Alatreon are MR24 for the sake of speedrunners, in reality they are WAYYYY harder and are meant to be faced MR100+ (which means you face Ruiner Nergi before them) after you have already finished your Augments and stuff from Guiding Lands.....
This alone makes me want to say one thing: Nergi for Gen 6 with Malzeno and Velkhana to give the og's time off!

Been playing this series since MH1 and its amazing how despite my love for many of the monsters in this series, No monster has won me over as hard as Nerg. I dont care that its a overly edgy middle school level of edge with spikes everywhere type design, if anything i appreciate them for going all the way with it. Getting Punched by a Dragon will always feel more special then getting roasted alive by one to me for some reason.
Yeah, Nergigante's pretty cool, because unlike other elder dragons, who have ice, fire, lightning or plague as powers, Nergigante's power is the draconic equivalent of "my fists are rated E for Everyone".
A lot of people say that Nergigante is a basic pick for a favorite monster, but that's exactly why he's my favorite. In a world with camouflaging poison dragons and 5 individual wind/storm dragons(Kushala, Amatsu, Ibushi, Narwa, Allmother) he's just that. Basic. And he's consistently more effective than most.

The sheer amount of CHILLS i got when stars at our backs kicked in near the end there...man, i fucking love this community and franchise.

I doubt that'd work out well, because there's no telling what a wild monster that's basically locked in a glorified cage will do. You never know if a Rathalos were to, oh, I dunno, barbeque some audience members.

It was always super weird to me that Ruiner used AT Nergi's theme in the cutscene vs Shara but not in its actual fight.
Imagine if there was an event quest where you help ruiner fight full power shara and they have a few mini turf wars throughout the fight, early in the fight shara is winning but as you whittle him down ruiner starts to dominate the mini turf wars until shara is dead

@@evodolkaYeah, because it completely destroyed his cadence. He had one move (I believe it was called the pepega slam by the playerbase) that it could go into from virtually any attack... INCLUDING ITSELF. It was a very fast and very powerful strike that was difficult to react to, and if I remember right, there was no way to tell if he was gonna do it or not. Combine that with making him one of the tankiest monsters (if not THE tankiest) and just the general damage increase of AT elders, they made the well-made glass cannon into an armored nuke.
I think the ONLY thing good that came from AT Nergi was the remade theme, which sounds way better than base Nergi's theme to me.

Dude, I'll be honest, I really dig Nergigante and Ruiner Nergigante, but I can't stand a big chunk of their fanbase.

I particularly dislike these guys, fanbase worse than Rajang's. But gotta admit, Nergigante is a solid monster, and his theme is dope, seriously underrated. Both the classic and the Tempered versions are amazing, and this rendition is just magnificent.
The chants bring a whole new vibe, none of that *_“Ohooo, look at me, my theme has no chants and no elemental powers, I'm strong and use my claws, blah blah”_* nonsense. It really feels like you're taking on the Extinction Dragon, not just a monster people think is special because it relies on brute force or lacks chants in its theme.
It's splendid and perfect, fits Nergigante so well, truly drives home that he's the Elder Dragon Devourer and the Extinction Dragon!
Tbf Nergigante being the only elder dragon that's like an actual dragon and doesn't use any elemental abilities is rlly cool
But at the same time anyone who thinks he gets past Valstrax us snorting smth crazy

I used to actually think Zinogre was a trash monster mostly due to his fans, but due to my already existing enjoyment of Stygian Zinogre and fighting Zinogre in Rise, I've come to like the bear wolf bastard despite fans overhyping it because it isnt the monster, its the fans
Nergigante is an awesome monster with unique twists on monster hunter as a whole. People need to appreciate nergi, and many other monsters, for the monster itself and not whether or not it beats another in a fight

I just fought Lunastra for the first time, I don't even want to know what AT Nergigante is like.
You know how Nergi's kinda fair because he's basically a glass cannon? Replace the glass with thick armor, and replace the cannon with a machine gun that fires missiles.
In multiplayer, it had 65K health, which had 15K more HP than Extreme Behemoth, and in solo, it still had 26K health.
The already high attack of Nergigante is brought to ridiculous levels, where even a glancing blow can take a noticable piece of your health off. Remember that this fight was designed for High Rank... somehow.
It gains a move that the community has called the Pepega Slam, where it can sometimes do an AoE ground slam after almost any attack, including itself, thus destroying any hope of determining if you actually have an opening or not. Your best bet is basically to always anticipate he's going to do it, dodge to the right and hope you did the timing right to narrowly avoid getting slaughtered.
Oh, AT Nergigante is a cakewalk compared to Lunastra

Just to be fair, I only just fought the Lunastra that gives you the Temporal Mantle, and I usually faint at least once every time. The only reason I'm still fighting it is so I can get a full upgraded armor set so I can finally stand a chance against Behemoth. (I've watched a NCH Productions tutorial)

People complain about AT Nergigante being lack of creative and boring game design, and when it come out with a new move set and somewhat different behaviour. Now people biatch about it too. I glad i got to chance to fight such of a beast.
I think that if the slam wasn't so fast and it didn't have so much HP, it'd be a fine enough fight.
Add a second or two of wind-up to that slam and cut his HP to 18K in solo, 26K in duos and 42K in 3+ player groups, and I'd wager it'd be much better.

Please understand why this fight is the hardest fight in world, before MR he is the fastest and a simple scratch will one shot you.
There's a reason why veterans hunter fear him more than fatalis and million of zenny went to the felines cart service because the guy is just terrifying.
He has 65k hp which is not normal for HR 4 man hunt that is the average of 4 man hunt of most MR monster hell some even lower than that.
Legit it took me 3 months to fight him because the amount of HP is just insane and the damage is overkilled, this fight is basically gitgud or die because everything is always OHKO your best bet is in divine blessings rng
