A Sopwith 1½ Strutter, a fantastic subject. I don't think any of the other manufacturers have made this one before. I didn't realise that the 1½ Strutter had such a large space between the two cockpits - which would have made communication between the two crew members difficult. But this is why I come to modelling sites; to see what those planes looked like in detail. I hope that the Easyline works out for you. My fear is that it will perish over time
Agree, this plane has it's own charm. I heard that EZline may perish with the time, but only if you leave it on the direct sunlight (even through the glass window) I keep my models in the plastic boxes in my basement, without any direct sunlight, fingers crossed ))
Marvellous job and a testament to your skill in achieving great results from fairly ordinary kits. Your attention to detail is terrific and your techniques worth emulating....thanks for sharing your work and the art of building WW1 aircraft.
You are welcome and most deserving. You have inspired me to be a better WW1 aircraft modeller. Many thanks for being such a dedicated teacher and sharing this on YT.
Thank you, I already built CSM Caudron G.III, you can find it on my channel, Meng's Dridekker will be in my list for the next year, because I already have a plan for this year ;-)
Thanks Trevor! More to come, I already have an idea about my next project, but first I will share a video from my trip to Canadian aviation museum, I has a real (not replica) AEG G.IV bomber
Great build as usual. Your WW I aircraft builds have inspired me to try a WW I kit; your build of the Siemens Schukert made me purchase one. I think the combination of your build and the four bladed prop(have never seen one on a WW I fighter) made me do it. Just a quick question, what size Albion Alloys tubing are you using. Thanks Richard
Thank you, Richard, that's amazing!!! I really wish you good luck with your build. For this build I used 0.6mm tube, I think it's very accurate and match the scale
Magnificent build (as always)! I've never found a CA glue which allows me to use the needle technique the way you do. What brand/type of CA is it? You make it look so easy!
Thank you, just replied to the same question lol - I use a cheap Krazy super glue, that I buy in a local Dollarstore, like this - www.amazon.ca/Krazy-Glue-All-Purpose-Original-6155010100/dp/B007Z7PH6S?th=1
Thanks, I would love to build them, but I do not have those models and, as you know, it's too expensive to buy them now. I have Albatros B.II though, it's also reconnaissance plane, but much earlier type

Hi Oleg, I would understand if you don’t have the time to respond. If you do have the time though, I was wondering if you can recommend any WW1 reference books on planes and possibly armored cars? I absolutely love the character of these machines, but finding appropriate references is extremely difficult. Thank you for sharing your techniques!👍🏾
Sure, I try to reply to all comments, I really like Windsock and Datafiles series by Ray Rimell, i always try to use them for my reference during my builds, also Osprey publishing has a lot of interesting books, not only about WW1, but about almost everything. I'm not very familiar with armored cars though, but I think you can find some with Osprey. Good luck with the search, WW1 period is a very interesting, so many technology innovations
No worries, my please to help fellow modelers, I use Excel drills, the reason why mine do not break, in my opinion, because I do not use a heavy drill, my drill bits are inserted and glued to medical needles, that are much lighter, so you can control the pressure more precise
Yeah, I built some, one even won a gold medal during the last model show, I shared this in the video about CAMS model show ruclips.net/video/qVvlcKmIDJA/видео.html
Oleg, once again you’ve turned a Roden kit into an extraordinary model. Well done!! 👍👍
That goes for me too. You really turn these Roden kits into superb models. 😍
Thank you so much, Mark and welcome back, I hope you are feeling well.
Thank you, Ronald, Roden kits are not too bad, they have their own pros and cons and you can make a good model from any kit
@@FlyingCircusModels that’s true Oleg but some kits take more work than others to turn into good models. 😁 🤟🏻
That was another superb build from the WWI aircraft master, you are to be congratulated on a job well done, best regards from Australia 👌👍👌👍
Thank you so much, I'm trying to hold the bar high :-)

Вітаю! Настільки акуратна та точна робота, що я в шоці) Дуже гарно вийшло, втім, як завжди! Дякую за відео.
Дякую, Сергій, я намагався зробити класну модель.
Так і вийшло!
Beautifully done Oleg, as always....👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻
Thank you so much!!!

Stunning work as usual Oleg, very well done!
Thanks, Phil!!!
Wow! Just, wow! Amazing work! Always waiting for updates on your builds! Please do a CSM kit or the Meng Tripe!

Beautiful work especially with the rigging 👏
Thanks!!!
I love watching your videos - been waiting for your upload! Great stuff - look forward to more when you get the time.

Looks wonderful
Thank you!!!
Awesome work, yet again.... keep it up 😊
Thank you so much
Holy moly, such fine work!
Thank you so much, Paul
Beautifully done.
Thanks David
Enjoyed them videos thank very much Steve U.K.
Thank you
Very nice work. I like the rigging method.
Thank you!!!
Magnificent!!

thats nice well done ,for the rigging you are using 0,8 tube in that scale?
Thank you, I used 0.6mm for outer diameter and 0.4mm inner. I feel that 0.8mm is too big for the scale

Great job! Do you have any plans to tackle some of the WNW 1/32 German reconnaissance planes like the Rumpler or Albatros C types?
Thanks, I would love to build them, but I do not have those models and, as you know, it's too expensive to buy them now. I have Albatros B.II though, it's also reconnaissance plane, but much earlier type
@@FlyingCircusModels The Albatros B.II would be an interesting build!
agree, perhaps I will include it in to my build list for the next year
great build as always. what grade(s) of cyanoacrylate do you use? You seem to get so much better control than i do
Just saw you're asking the same question. Black magic!

Sorry, one last question, your drill bits seem super strong and flexible. At 0.2mm mine break really easy. What brand are you using? Many thanks

Could you tell me about this wire? AmmoMig 3 mm? Great Job my friend.
Thanks, I used EZline elastic thread this time - www.amazon.ca/Line-Simulating-Wires-Charcoal-Black/dp/B07KSDVF4V
@@FlyingCircusModels Morning. Can you tell me about wire. Is It 0,10mm, 0,15mm? I need wire, of 0,10mm. Thank's
I think it's something like 0.2mm, but, because it's stretching you may get 0.1mm
I' m sure you would sucessfully built a sail ship model.
Yeah, I built some, one even won a gold medal during the last model show, I shared this in the video about CAMS model show ruclips.net/video/qVvlcKmIDJA/видео.html
Do you wear an optloop when doing the rigging?
no, I still can do it without any extra glasses or other devices
