One day, they found their farm puppies playing with a coyote pup. The coyote ended up coming home with them and becoming a member of the family (they named him "Buddy"). Buddy was an affectionate little rascal, and very smart, too. They trained him to go between their farmhouse and the farmhouses of their friends who lived on a neighboring farm carrying messages attached to his collar. Buddy lived with them for four years before he sadly caught some kind of illness and didn't survive...

My cats bring other cats home (I get them all vet checked, spayed/neutered and yearly shots,) when we feed the outside ones they're joined by possums, raccoon and lately a skunk.
Despite popular belief skunks aren't smelly. This skunk just stands with our cats waiting for us to put the plates of food down, then joins in eating. The whole time he's been coming by there's never been any spraying and even though he's right by the cats none of them smell bad 😮
Skunks spray when they're frightened or protecting their babies You're a good person for feeding them ❤

As new ones come I take them to the vets for shots and to get fixed.

I'm really amazed that the goat didn't actually headbutt the dog. It shows that it knew that the dog couldn't take the hit.

Goats are great. Worst thing one did to me was gnaw my hand a bit when I quit breaking of branches of bushes that were high up, so it could get to the young leaves. It didn't break the skin but wasn't shy about the gnawing to make its wants clear either.

This kind of thing always reminds me of the time I was on a 15 mile hike (Perryville Trail in KY) as a boy scout 50+ years ago. The trail cuts across the edge of a LOT of pastures of farms (with ladders to make climbing over the fences easy). There were small herds of cows (several to a dozen or more, and mostly to fully grown) in many of those pastures. They were curious, and would run after us. (We would run from them, so they'd chase us wondering what was up).
Only AFTER that 15 miles with LOTS of short bursts of running away from cows later, did my dad explain to me that they were just curious, and if we wouldn't run, they wouldn't chase us.
It is always fun as a Dutch person to cycle past farmland and dismount from your bicycle and wait for the cows to quit eating grass and have one start staring at you while proceeding to eat the grass they just pulled from the land, and at some point another cow notices one of them is checking something out and eventually they all group up to watch you as if saying "Look, LOOK!! Someone who usually drives past us just stopped!! Check this out!" :P
