I didn’t think it was that strikingly obvious that this is not my genre. You continue to amaze with your keen observation :)
I was at a traffic light listening by to your reaction - and just had to get those two bits in.
There’s been quite some fanfare around the release of this track - to the point where I just couldn’t help but notice it. So when you also came up with your reaction - I kinda went: “Oh well, WHY NOT!”.
I have to admit I found myself enjoying the track - I am glad this young duo is giving the language her due deference. The music is very enjoyable and as you both said, it’s a track that even nearly 50 year olds like me can put on repeat. Well done to the young men. And well done to you for getting me to commit what is called ‘Qasam torr dena” - to make an unlikely exception.
Also, khwabon se barre - as in bigger.
Now to get out of this parking spot and get back into the traffic. Why not!
