I just realized that I watched that whole video with a smile on my face.
I revisit this once a year. Same!
The fact that this has had eight and a half a million views and is not a hit in its own right it totally amazing ……
Sitting here in the corona apocalypse and this piece of gold comes up on my screen...thank-you from the bottom of my heart.
To The Heimatdamisch 👍
Amen to that!
yup !
Love it
Thanks Charles, loved it. Now Alex is playing over and over
ja mann i do agree...it is saturday 15.02 uhr ... i lost it 😂
five years ago I was not ready for this but today I am
As a punk rocker, latin biker, with Dutch blood...I must say.
This is freaking awesome, and I love it. Go Deutschland!!
so you biker!? no fck with you badass!
This kind of performances always reminds me that there is so many talented people in this world! Absolutely brilliant!
Paweł masz rację chłopcy nieźle dają czadu. Piękna wersja przepięknej piosenki Guns and Roses.
@@puciopucio5819 No to wio na Oktoberfest... :)
Love it! Beside the humor , the performance is really impressive and connie's voice is fantastic. das ist wunderbar !
I wish they would do thunder struck by ac/dc
What the heck did I just land on? Swear to god some people are just so talented.
Oompah
Guns'n'Lederhosen... 😁
Brilliant
❤️👍😅
Guns'inda'Lederhosen !!!
Hosen n rosen
Und 's Mad'l Conny hat a' Dirndl an 😘 fesch. Macht weiter so 👍👍👍😎😎😎
That lady could sing in any type of band, her voice is awesome!
Dynamite! Pure gold. Axl would be proud👍
...he's late to this...like everything else
I love the Heimatdamisch, Sad to hear that Conny is no longer part of the band. I love her vocals.
She's beautiful!
WHAT!!!!???!! oh my gutness!!😢😢😢😢
OH MY GOD THAT SAX !!! ...AND THAT EPIC VOICE !!! OUTSTANDING!
I love that Helen Mirren is singing Guns and Roses.
What is up with the RUclips recomendations? Everybody just getting this song all of a sudden? I LOVE IT!
Me too- it just popped up out of nowhere! It's great!
"Johnny Depp" in the background just getting on with his lunch. Brilliant.
This is so disturbing. To learn, after all these years, that Guns n Roses stole songs from a Polka band. Talk about destroying a young man's innocent illusions.
lol
One of the best comments in this string! 🤣
MEDIC!!!!
I’m trying to figure out why this woman gives me such a raging boner.
@@dirigoelectric cos she looks like real women should look like, incl looking like she enjoys life and sex.
That sax solo was impressive.
I don’t know how something can be goofy strange sexy and awesome all at the same time.
Hf that tenor sax solo lit my life right up! Omg this was a great rendition
That female lead singer is Conny Kreitmeier from munich, germany ... well known with her Orchester Bürger Kreitmeier and many more projects. Greetz from munich, bavaria
She is mesmerizing! Ein langer Besuch in Ihrem Land steht auf meiner Liste der Dinge, die ich tun muss!
That opening trumpet riff is excellent.
I'd have it as a ringtone
the best non rock version i have heard yet. She nailed the vocals
Wow!!!! What a voice! Perfect with band. Hope to see more of this group.
It’s nice to know, I’m not the only one who was lured here by ample attributes but stayed for the talents!
Roger that ! :-)
Absolutely fantastic. As an Englishman and a big fan of Guns n Roses, this version is top of the range. You should send a copy of the video to Axl.
JEAH TO AXL 🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎸🎸🎸😎🎤🎤🎼
2 minutes ago I was watching a video on how to change the oil in a tractor....and, now this. RUclips is wonderful.
Kelly Meacham Look up Thunderstruck by Steven and the Seaguls
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA JA JA!!
LOL!..Excellent!
Kelly Meacham we call that the rabbit hole
So true 😄
3:38-4:42
That Saxophone solo... *WOW!!!* It completely blew me away. Amazing! 👏🏻🤘🏻👏🏻🤘🏻👏🏻
dare i say it... possibly the most amazing cover of that song ever!
Most unique
Thunder and Rain do a cool cover
Truly one of the best covers of "sweet child o' mine" and the singers voice is perfect for this song.
When the sax came in it very positively reminded me of The Madness.....great interpretation that proves a great song is a great song, even when played with different instrumentation
This lady just makes it look so natural and easy. While showing the girls how to do it with grace and style
I defy anyone to watch / listen to this and still be in a bad mood. LOVE it!
I'm crying with laughter, nearly falling off my chair here, thought it'd be a lame cover but...
It's absolutely brilliant, well done guys. Going to follow you.
Keep up the good work.
Mee2
Sounds tight
Check out their incredible version of "Highway To Hell" absolutely the definitive version! ruclips.net/video/n_gtGfAail4/видео.html
Soooooo wrong..... but soooooo good
Super Jungs und Mädel.
No guitar?
Guitar not needed!!!!
A splendid version of this song. Thank you!
Terrible vid. Stand and sing, stop posing. Not a bad sound though.
@@izzyfreeride what?
I've heard several women sing this cover, but this lady does the best job.
The saxophone solo was awesome.
I fully agree, it ties the place together.
That was...... ridiculously AWESOME!! Congratulations to these incredible musicians and the singer absolutely nailed it!!
When I first heard Sweet Child back in the 80s I thought 'This needs more accordian'. Seriously though great version ! Especially the sax
What it really needs is more cow bell!
I GOT A FEVA! AND THE ONLY PRESCRIPTION IS MORE COWBELL! 😁
Dude, nothing in the world needs more accordion.
This was really good though!
Guns and Roses and Madness with a great singer!
Bloody brilliant
I love this version. I really like her voice and the sound of the saxophone is incredible. A beautiful combination.
Me too and the staccato accordion.
The clarinet ain’t half bad, either!
Where is the saxophone?
I've been in rock bands that couldn't cover it that tight. Best ever.
Actually super easy barely an inconvenience.
That's not the only thing that's tight in this video, but I fully agree - this is great!
Still great five years later !
Still gave me shivers when it got to the build up of the main solo. Rarely has a cover of this song ever hit hit that spot.
Agreed, but are you kidding? This cover surpassed the original.
@@rocketman3695 not better than the original but it got the part which I like so right.
At first I thought "what crap is this?", but when I played it I found that it's an amazing piece of musical craftsmanship. Impressive!
You were right first time. It isn't as good as crap actually.
@@markleveson6093 No, it's very tight musically. Technically, an excellent job. But, yes, you don't have to like it, of course.
@@markleveson6093 - oh no I'm afraid you are wrong - THIS is the original one...LOL
@@theSunKing142 Of course I'm wrong. Of course you are right. How silly of me not to realise that 🙄
@William Lloyd-Roberts "Get lost" being the operative phrase 🙄
That drummer seems to play the bass drum with his mind. Spectacular! Hell at one point he even plays the damned thing when not even there.
I am a drummer and missed that entirely until you mentioned it. Good eye for detail you have!
@@torotexas I don't think it's live..
@@stvolo wow you are pretty sharp too
The drummer is also the master-mind of this band. I think he did at least partly do the shooting and did it when he wasnt on place. That doesnt matter - they didnt care for a perfect video...
@@Schlotzinger There is no need to defend anything here. I'm just poking fun.
What a performance. That screaming sax, the lady excellent singing, even if you get dirived by the depht. A very good parody of the original Gunc N' Roses...
Lady has a great voice...
Proof that a great song is a great song no mater what genre its played in. Well done and what fun!
At least she doesn't sound like somebody stepped on a cat's tail!
Well, this is a version I didn’t know I needed. ❤
I guess a good song, played by talented musicians and a gal with a good voice always carries the day.
They should tour with Madness...would be a mega show!
Why we think at madness?
Me too-already!
Ich musste auch an die nutty boys denken.
I absolutely agree, English - Bavarian Ska.
If you like this, check out a Scottish band called Bombskare, they do awesome Ska ,reminds me heavily of Madness…👌
@@supertramp6011 will do cheers👍🏻
The algorithm has gathered us here folks, let us pay our gratitude
Hail Algorithm!
I have no clue why RUclips thought I needed to see this. But I did.
Loved it. the saxophone was amazing 🎷
You just never know what's going to pop up on your RUclips feed. Great cover!!!!!
Funny thing is David, my thoughts exactly.
Fine entertainment! Polka meets heavy metal and wins big..
First there were Bluegrass versions of Sweet Child O' Mine and now this.
Awesome.
Nicely done. She has a great voice.
Brilliant indeed. Plus the guy chilling in the back with his beer and snacking....kills it 😎
I am not exactly sure what I just watched, but I think I liked it.
Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow!!! What a vocal, what a sax solo, what an arrangement, what a band, what a performance! There have been several very creative and well done covers of Sweet Child O'Mine but I believe this is the best. Absolutely love it! Thank you!
Incredible saxophone plays!
One of the breast songs ever written.
This is awesome! That sax guy sure knows his shit! Good singer too, fantastic! The whole band rocks. Thumbs up.
yes, she has a very good voice. Love to hear them cover Madness.
Uhhh, that’s a clarinet...
@@MrJett1971 I'm quite sure the solo instrument was a saxophone, even though he played a clarinet to start with.
And it don't sink 😉
Night Boat to Munich!
Came to laugh...stayed to applaud
Still one of my favorite covers. Wish I was in BT to see it live.
are you kidding...this rocks
Have watched the video 10 times and will watch it 10 times more
Me too!
She has great talents.
A real show woman !
amazing voice
that guy with the tinted glass is the definition of talent. the lady looks like Helen Mirren with dark hair.
Thank you! It was killing me !! Cheers
I think Conny Kreitmeier is way more funny and nice and sexier than Helen Mirren.... and Conny can sing
I thought it was Tracy Ullman !
Nice sax solo
You mean the guy sitting there drinking.
That cool guy sitting in the back, drinkin beer and eating snacks. Lol.
He's from Breaking Bad
Ok the Snack is a Brotzeit in Bavaria our Vesper in Blackforest
But who drinks beer with a straw, I ask you?
@@mikefish1124 Actually nobody, I think it's a joke. Greetings from Bavaria.
Snack is called "Brotzeit" ...
anyone loving this yammy in 2024?
Some women are just born to sing and their voice is amazing natural gift.
I thought life was good before, then I heard this and now life doesn’t make sense without it.
I do not believe a song has ever, until now, brought this much pure joy into my life.
I'm kind of the same. There's something wildly attractive about this cover.
RUclips is like a travel agency with secret destinations.
Fellow men of culture I know goddamn well why you clicked on this and I did too.
This is awesome. Makes me wish that the group Madness had did a cover at the time.
Wow, I love her attitude in addition to the amazing singing and voice. I can't help but think this is a better performance than the original. Please do more of these for us!
I do not know how I got here, but glad I did.
Move over Axle I get the feeling she's holding back. Awesome performance by all.
including the bass player they hid behind the curtain- didnt have to do that
Ok, that sax doing the Slash solo, frickin' genius
Don't even know how I ended up here but it's cool 👍🏻
I was just wondering the same thing!
Me too!
Me to
And me
don't ask me but it is cool
The Heimatdamisch are well on their way to a million views with this amazing, punchy cover.
It's tight, a lot of fun and surprisingly powerful at the end. Who new there could be such a fresh take on this classic?
I think the guy enjoying his meal did an excellent job.
I'm Japanese.
I love this song. It' a great play.
Und ich liebe japanische Motorräder 👍😂
Absolutely brilliant,what a fab voice she's got
The Sax solo rocked out. Reminded me a little of Men at Work - Who can it be now.
Reminds you of 80's Madness as well
With a little bit of Hazel O'Conner 'Will You' thrown in for good measure!
First time I heard this, I thought it was *only* a HOOT!
Which it is.
But those folks are *serious* musicians. The Sax solo at 3:40 is good stuff!
Got me into finding more music by The Heimatdamisch .
❤
Just exactly what this world needs right at this moment. Talented and creative people to make us laugh and not take themselves too serious. I think this is a wonderful example of great human spirit in the face of adversity!
I think they are brilliant. Talented bands men and a lead singer with a brilliant and adaptable voice. Great sound!
Not sure how I got here... but I'm glad I did... this is RUclips gold!... the ooooompah band search will now commence!!🤘🤘
Maybe the most ridiculously awesome thing I have ever seen/heard.
I'm totally unable to summon a cogent emotional response to this. May need full brain reboot.
😂😂😂😂
Who says Germans don't have a sense of humour. This is freaking brill😁
@@tonydanis1480 Haha. Perfect!
So how many times you listened to it.
The guy with the breakfast was simply the best!
I just love this version. I have this on my download list when I am driving along and always gives me a smile. Surely one of the best covers of this rock classic. Rock on and More please 🇦🇺🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
THE DRUMMER IS AMAZING, HE CAN KICK THE BASE DRUM WITH NO PEDAL!
I dont think the clarinet is putting heart into it
Only polka can do this!
This is pure talent!
There is no kick pedal at all so I am confused.
@@robertging1849 So what - she sings without microphone and it works :-)
IMGUR sent me here +1!😃
Same!
Same here
Same

Yep
The guy in the black hat really nailed it
The best version of that song I've ever heard! Miss, yours vocals are so powerful and that saxophone makes you want to move to the groove.
Proof that Guns n' Roses needs more accordions.
