The documentary makes every song hit that much harder especially WOKE UP because you know they mean business. There is so much they can do and no matter what it is it’s done at the highest of levels. 😮💨

I agree! I just realized that.I mean some of them are skinny, but I think they’re naturally that way, vs starving themselves to look that way.I love how Harvey isn’t trying make herself skinny.As long as they’re healthy I’m happy
I saw people body shaming cocona and Harvey on Twitter, which is absolutely crazy considering they’re still skinny according to most standards, but in Kpop everyone is starved and put on strict dieting regimes so for some reason a lot of kpop fans think that XG being healthy weights is absurd. they really challenge the beauty standards for idols and it’s amazing. They don’t look super malnourished, Harvey has gained more weight since debut and she looks healthy and thriving. Cocona’s shaved head that I’ve NEVER seen in kpop girls before, literally ever. The makeup looks for their kpop televised shows for woke up look like they’re all focused on artistry and being alienesque rather than just trying to look cute-like the weird eye contacts chisa’s worn. Harvey’s black teeth and the bizarre hair & fashion choices in puppet show. They truly challenge what it means to be an idol in the best possible way and it makes them so unique!
They're on a world tour right now. You can see clips of this song being performed live (be careful...there is heavy strobing, so people prone to seizures should be careful).
Among the group artists, XG stands out for being able to express such a strong impact on their music videos, as they can do anything perfectly. Check out XG’s new mixtape, XG Tape 4 or XG Vox #6 cover song, if you haven’t already. The crazy thing is that I listened to Sexy Red U My Everything with Drake after I listened to Woke Up. There is clear difference in quality especially when it comes to female rap in comparison of these 2 songs. Woke Up was released a few days before U My Everything. I had re-listen to XG Woke Up, XG Vox, and XG Tape to basically heal my ears.
If you haven’t listen Sexy Red’s new song with Drake, I wouldn’t recommend you to because I am envy you that you haven’t yet. 😂
