They MUST get rid of Adam Fox! He is and was USELESS as a defenseman this season and during the playoffs. He is no Makar, Josi, or Heiskinen - not even close. Fox lacks grit, is inept at backchecking, is rag-dolled with his back to Shesty, is lost on forecheck, and can't seem to impact the ice other than when he is generously placed in high leverage and advantaged situations like the power play. Imagine if Schneider, Miller, or Zac Jones were given the amount of ice time Fox receives in leveraged situations. They would impact gameplay on both ends of the ice more than Fox. I cringe whenever he's on the ice pretending to play defense. And what the hell is Lavvy thinking playing him on the PK??? Trade Fox and the next five-round picks for Tage Thompson. Or trade for a defenseman who exhibits toughness and grit, who can dish out hits and take one, use his stick to poke, and apply time and space with effort. Adam Fox is effing awful!
