Thank you for this talking about how the imagination creates what so many believe is real and true.

David Greenman Thanks for your comment, David. The greatest of miracles is that consciousness exists at all. This is just so incredible. Birthless and deathless consciousness. I may do another video (not just audio) in which the small difference between an imagined future and momentary perceiving is looked at more closely. Both show the non-substantiality of events.

Hello Dietrich, Thank you so much for your response. Wonderful, wonderful. I will look forward with great anticipation to your next audio/video. I am greatly appreciative.
Yes so true, so very true, as you express - "The greatest of miracles is that consciousness exists at all"

Why do you think you have consciousness?

+Tapasya Tyaga Thank you. That is a great question. The truth is I don't. Words are labels. Human invented, agreed upon language. We agree to refer to this language as english and in truth (what ever that is), it is simply noises and symbols. Noises uttered from the body or action figure and symbols are squiggly lines on a screen or paper. Perhaps a better way of saying it would be to say we are consciousness. Words are so misleading. How would you phrase it?

      David Greenman
I can tell you are a deep thinker.
But I must know how you view
      Anatman
      Maya
      Avidya
      Mithyatva
      Badha
      Sadasadvilaksana
By knowing this, I can understand the man who calls himself Greenman.

A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada told me before he left his body that the Buddha was incarnated to the world to confuse and confound the atheists.
He did a great job. This is why nondualists contradict one another, speak in tautology. Some are just hucksters and charlatans.
The nondualists flatter themselves with the misconception that they have pierced the veil. They emerged from Plato's cave and returned to their erstwhile deluded mortals.
They explain that the shadows on the cave wall heretofore studied assiduously do not reflect the brilliant colors of the satori they have experienced
But the "brilliant colors" are but another delusion/illusion.
Awake! Awaken from this dream my friend.
The Bhagavad Gita (same root as guitar) proclaims that Krishna will descend when irreligiosity reaches its peak.

+Tapasya Tyaga We seem to believe in what appeals most to us. This includes believing our experiences, in authorities, gurus etc. Belief is not an ingredient of seeing 'what is.' For a belief to occur, thoughts have to be added to the seeing. (By seeing I mean perceiving without attaching labels to who/what sees and what is seen.) Seeing happens before a definition/label has been added. Renouncing the belief in labels takes away all mental support and mental clothing. Renouncing the belief in labels I call true renunciation. I concede that this may not make sense and could be confusing to the mind, whether its conditioning is atheistic or otherwise. I am sure Buddha confused many minds. I can't claim that I am confused by his words. I don't need to believe them. I see what they try to point to.
I do not disqualify anyone who is interested in labelled appearances and who is attracted to investigating duality, past and future. Here is my concession: According to my opinion, it is possible to dive into this multi-layered universe, - using conventional science, esoteric science, using some holy scriptures (I love the Bhagavad Gita but interpret it differently), clairvoyant skills and using labels - without believing any of it. In this way, there is no resistance towards the scientific and/or esoteric findings, and they can be comfortably integrated without letting them 'steal' the innocent view of nonduality. The mental thief is the belief.

      Dietrich,
We can talk about advaita and Dvaita until the cows come home. But I understand your Gemütlichkeit approach to discord.
That is what makes you a gentleman.
But the real issue is the end of Kali Yuga. If to listen to the short wave radio when the moon is full you may hear the voices speaking in Egyptian hieroglyphics giving us secrets to crack the code to Bach. I think Haifetz and Perlman know many great things and my hat is off to their genius. Perlman maybe is closer to Bach while Haifetz was a revolutionary trying to push the envelope.... so why not. Nobody listens anymore Dietrich but to the Gods of degenerated culture. Their is too much static, dissonance and white noise. Even Paul Hindemith if he stood on his head might throw the baby out with the bathwater. But that's another story. Can we agree at least that there's hope, fraternity, equality without Robespierre guffawing at the tennis court. I think there is hope Dietrich. I think we can transcend abd become the jiva souls we were meant to be. Peace to all and good wishes to everbody.
