Amstrad PC2086 First Looks

The Amstrad PC2000 range was the follow-on range after the amazingly popular and sucessful PC1512 and PC1640 models. Less groundbraking but with a wider range of Intel CPU's to choose from and upgraded floppy disks and graphics, they made more sense in 1988. In this video we look at two garage-find PC2086's to see if they work...

A nice find. I have never used an Amstrad Desktop but I do have PPC512 portable.

My Amstrad PC1512 was my first exposure to IBM PC clones. I also have a PPC640 but find the screen too washed-out bad to be fun :-/
