So that tree did the same to her. That boring head was used to drill into a warship to steal a nuke in an earlier scene. The villain with no sense of pain got stabbed with a fuel rod from the nuclear reactor he was trying to rig for a massive explosion destroying Istanbul. That wasn't a weapons shell, it was a pipe full of enriched Uranium. Separating it from the others reduced the total Uranium amount to less than explosive. In the Die Another Day fight on the airplane the villain was a genius and knew the parachute would suck him into the jet engine if he let go. Bond just thought he would fall to his death (face gravity). In Casino Royale, the villain was trying to blow up the A380 SuperJumbo at the public presentation in Miami airport (stock market manipulation). There was no legal proceeding, just angry airport security.

But a rear naked can kill someone. With a quick squeeze It puts them to sleep because it cuts off the oxygen to their brain, via the carotid artery. If you continue to hold it, they will start to suffer brain damage, and death will occur soon after. If I remember right, the rule of thumb is that brain damage starts at ~3 seconds of oxygen deprivation.

I find it funny how people complained about Oddjob, where when I played Godleneye 64 recently I found you could use the directional buttons to aim, and I was having a harder time firing and getting by the inverted aiming and graphics that make anything beyond 5 feet the tiniest dot. And to think that if they had kept Oddjob's height the same in Goldeneye Source as it was in 64, he would be the most underpowered character, simply due to how quick you can aim on modern pc shooters. Oddjob would be at a disadvantage cause he would have to aim more to go for headshots, and quite possibly have his height make it pathetically easy for headshots. You probably wouldn't even need to aim to headshot him in Source.

Also, regarding the guy in drag Bond kills at the start, that's not a hate crime. That was Jacques Bouvar, an assassin who faked his death and went to his own funeral disguised as his (presumably nonexistent) wife. Bond surprises him when he walks in the door at his house which is why he's still in drag. I don't think he habitually dressed in drag except for that one disguise. And don't cry for the guards at Krest's warehouse/marine research facility in Licence to Kill. Both of those guys were present during Felix's torture and raised no objections. And the first guard isn't "baked." What he's dumped into his a drawer full of maggots used to feed the fish and the implication is they eat him.

I feel like the Naomi kill is a bit of a ponderous one too. It’s one of only four female kills in the series and it’s just so cheap and cold for a Moore kill lol. He’s never been known as a killer of women. And he could have probably just floated away under water and just left her alone.
