also to add i test drive today himalayan 450 for good 15-20 kms on highway, i fell in love with that machine practically that offers everything you ask but since i could not test drive 650 Sm or shotgun due to no bike available in punjab and chandigarh for test drive in showrooms. Hey bro for SM or shotgun both share the same engine, but they're aiming for different riders. shotgun rocks a head-turning bobber look and pure badassery for cruising around town and SM cruiser style leans towards relaxed cruising, not aggressive bobber looks. For me i don't ride local much my sole purpose is to ride on highway for long kms so for me SM is best choice. apart from this i also fall in love with Himalyan these days if I get a chance I will surely add this to my collection lol.
Watch motorq videos, both are Not at all comfortable, shotgun is less uncomfortable than sm...that's it & lot of tappet issues in H450, and it's overpriced, look at Dominar/ktm/triumph 400cc.. all are 40bhp single cyl bikes...
@@nagdeep299 thanks for replying, not a fan of Bajaj and Ktm's. Triumph 400x i am considering but its good for commuting but not meant for touring or covering miles. My heart says shotgun 650 but mind says himalayan 450 🫣
I guess you must have driven Interceptor 650 before, so my only question for you is that which one do you think faster in terms of pick up and acceleration??? Interceptor or meteor 650?
I haven't ridden any of them . But logically speaking SM 650 is 40 kgs heavier than interceptor . So it's obvious that interceptor will be more efficient in terms of pick up .

Also, took it to a Kasol Manali trip where I drove it for 700 kms. I would recommend you to go for it on any given day. It is the most affordable 650 cc bike available at present and worth every penny. Very powerful and a complete attention seeker. My next target is to get good exhausts. Will go for either Rhino racing or Gursewak (with db killers) so that they are not too loud. Please ping me if you have any more queries and if you come to Jalandhar (Punjab), feel free to visit. i am confused between SM 650 and Shotgun 650, What is the comfort level on SM 650 as i heard its very stiff and shotgun 650 offers better suspension.

no bhai abhi tak to maine esa kuch face nahi kiya hai...abhi mujhe 3000km hi hue hai but kafi se sun ra hu k chain problem ari hai after 5000 km.
