- Wyman Manderly the lord of white harbour is arguable one of the mostly stark supporters, even after the red wedding, working to overthrow the Boltons and scheming in the shadows all the while placating House Lannister and Bolton. Wyman is a fan favorite character as his jovial personality really stands out during the northern storyline during a dance with dragons, but at the same time he is a complex and tough character as seen by his treatment of his Frey Guests, and the possibility of Frey Pie's. The show changes the northern storyline post war of five king's drastically thus Wyman in his true form never made it on to our screens.

Yes joining stannis and overthrowing the Boltons is the main goal but I think marching on winterfell may have to wait cuz if they do it right away wyman will be inside winterfell and hostage of the Boltons
It is heartwarming to see how loyal House Manderly are to the Starks even though they originated in the South. Heck, I'm sure that even if the Manderlys were offered their original seat of Dustonbury back they'd refuse it out of loyalty to House Stark. And to me, House Manderly represents how the Starks were able to rule the North for so long and why the Boltons could never hope to truly usurp them: they took in an exiled Southron noble house, gave them lands and a place to start anew, showed them great kindness and welcomed them into the North as one of their own. Now THAT is how you inspire loyalty.
Barbrey Dustin has a quote that says something like "they [the North] fear the boltons but they love the starks", which is why they will always be more loyal to starks than boltons. If you fear your overlord, you can be convinced/find the courage to rise up against them, but if you love them, you will not betray them
Never play a Manderly for a fool.
If Wyman is able to pull off his schemes, the Starks have got to reward the Manderlys heavily. Either with a marriage pack or giving them lands from the Hornwoods, to the Dreadfort they got to get something for the loyalty they show to the Starks. If Davos is able to get Rickon and Shaggy Dog, the Boltons will only hold the North by decree. Roose will have no choice but to spark a civil war in the North and as he can't have Rickon live while he has a fake Arya.

it honestly surprises me how overlooked they are in the show given how cool there lore and backstory are i'm hoping we see them in season 2 of HotD given jace's storyline.

Boo! Your support for the Blackfyres is something, but to give praise to the Peakes?! For generations, even before the Targaryens came to the Westeros, the Peakes have always been cunts! Had the Black Dragon sat the Iron Throne I'm still sure they'd still be up to no good. Out of all the houses in Westeros, the Peakes deserved to be exiled. Was there ever a decent Peake? Hell even the Freys acted noble at one point in time.
