My favorite is wide mouth . I could get my hand inside for cleaning . I have been using for many years for food storage dry or in the fridge and vacuuming juice for travel or in the fridge .

Ball & Kerr are the same jar - they kept the names different because of regional tastes, honestly ... Bernardin & Ball/Kerr are the same things - although the lids do differ, I've heard the Canadian (Bernardin) ones seal better because they have more compound on them. Otherwise, yeah, personal choice - I have had no issues with mainstay lids though

I have a few of the Canadian Mason Jars, those are pretty neat, but I think they are a little smaller, like a liter. :) Thanks for watching!

I use both, and I like them both, but tend to prefer the more plain Kerr jars. Less decoration highlights the beautiful food inside!

I to use both, mostly Ball just because that's what we have, but I like them both.. I do use a few cheap ones that I bought also, but I too had to replace the lids and here it's cheaper to buy the name brand jars, then cheap jars and new lids... Merry Christmas to you & Yours!!

I didn't know that Ball and Kerr were made by the same company! I guess I always thought of Ball as better, but we have used both. Since I use mason jars for my honey sales, I just use the walmart one. No worries about the walmart lids sealing, because it is just a top. Thanks for sharing Jinne!

We used to have a jar plant in the next town over, it was super handy to get cheap jars, LOL Sadly they left town. :( The walmart jars make sense for honey sales!! :)

I like the fact that the Kerr has a smooth side for an optional label, which I didn’t know, but other than that, I like the word Ball and only have those, but it’s due, in part, to lack of availability of Kerr anyway.

Ball jars are so beautiful and Kerr is plain I guess that's the difference, I'm here making sure Kerr isn't cheap in comparison because that's all thats available in my location, everyone grabs all the Ball jars.
