I know it's F2P but if the microtransactions were reasonable and cheaper, I'd consider buying some but sadly they are going by: Only few people gonna buy those so let's make them expensive instead of making them cheaper so more people can be affording them.
Yeah a worker for $19.99 come on $9.99 would have a lot more people buying it. The monthly thing should cost $5 at most royal merchant for $9.99 a month is crazy that is a 4 year old tripple A game a month.
11:30 i've been playing for as long as you and i have to disagree on that point, new player may need to pay a little bit to progress as fast as we did back in the days, lower tier item take more time to craft than when the game came out of beta, the lower tier market isn't as good as when there was only 6 tier, also best tier arent selling for as much diamond as when LCOG was release, i remember selling regular quality luxurious item at about 7-11 diamond each, and from one event making about 2000 diamond/week, from the first 3-4 Lcog, i made like over 10k diamond from the market... reality is different from back then...
Yeah you’re absolutely right! The game is so different now. I miss those days of getting 10 gems from a t7 normal enchant haha. Definitely a much more difficult grind completely f2p now

Yeah I think they would sell so many more at $4.99 a month that it would more than make up the difference plus make them even more money. $9.99 is enough for a monthly sub to windows pc plus, a 4 year old AAA game. to me it is a bit crazy.
Did someone say predatory microtransactions? Don't get me wrong, I like the game, it's fun but they monetization is horrible for the comsumer and the fact that 'they aren't the worst out there' is pretty worthless a pretty worthless point to make... Yes, it's playable without spending money but the game shoves the fact that you haven't spend into your face all the time, be it because you can't even make the equipment your heroes want (one example being a hero rolling specialization in a weapon type you can only craft with those special workers) or all those bounties you can't fulfill because you can't craft the items requested (and I'm not even talking about those golden kind bounties). If you want to defend a game, do it properly and don't simp for it like that. It's a nice game, it's playable without spending money but it's also predatory on those folks with poor impulse control and is not at all shy about showing you that you're not spending money. When I first saw a worker pop up I can only get for real money, which was also apparently the only way to craft an entire item type (at least up to now that's the case for me) I was already a bit miffed but I thought to myself 'it isn't that bad, if I enjoy the game enough, I don't mind spending a bit of money to get more game' but then another popped up... and another... and another... and the actual problem is that buying just all the workers costs a lot more than the entire game is worth, unless you want to tell me that this game should be more expensive than eldenring or baldurs gate 3 or whatevere else I could buy from LESS money... and that is ON TOP of the option of a monthly subsription and ON TOP of all those packs with exclusive things you can't get otherwise and ON TOP of the content pass... if you really think that's alright, you've been groomed by money hungry industries to accept this horendous design...
I’m not sure if they scale with level. I’ve never bought one and I never pay attention to what they are tbh. Someone said they got bigger with a recent update but I can’t confirm
‘Restarting the game’ aka having multiple accounts is against TOS, the only reason I have a couple is with permission for content purposes. And in my case, yes I ended up purchasing the workers twice
Correct, although, your account is connected to you steam account/device ID on Kabams end, which means even if you uninstall the game and clear all data, etc. When you reinstall you will still be on your old account. Other than starting to play on a separate device or different steam account, there’s nothing you can do to ‘delete’, and they won’t do it on their end because it’s against terms of service to play more than one account. Bit of a weird situation there, sorry!

I did it I purchased the Academy lady Evelyn.. the 10% bonus to shopkeeper xp will be nice. now watch shopkeeper 2 come out ... $20 ouch.
i had maybe $100 worth of pop up microtransactions in the first 2 weeks of playing, and it goes on and on.

Why are your special offers so expensive? Do they tier with level? Mine are $2.99 - $7.99 depending on what's in them.

If you haven’t logged in for a week you won’t be searchable, the high scores also reset weekly so that’s most likely the reason

BEST USE is give them nothing. Or 30 bucks like any other game. Anything past that is foolish. Very foolidh
