  • Perks of staying at Green Lake RV Resort. Fantastic place to stay!
Absolutely the best RV park we've ever stayed in. Where do I even start, I'll just start at the front and work my way back.
    1) It's gated, which is fantastic, you don't have to worry much about random people driving through (though it's true they could tailgate in if they really wanted to), but this is an amenity not available at a lot of places and it's really nice to have.
    2) The dog wash. We don't often wash our dogs ourselves, they have to get their haircut from time to time and we never have issues with ticks, so we just let the groomer do it. However, since this was available and also had a blowdryer, I went ahead and gave it a try. My dogs hated it. But that's because they're not particularly fond of water and act like they think they're going to drown, but they don't get to write the review, I do. The dog wash was great, less loose hair, less dander.
    3) The dumpsters. Well away from the majority of the sites, though I feel like if you're in one of the ones nearby and the wind is blowing in the right direction, you probably wish you weren't in that site.
    4) The dog walks. These are more of just little grass areas with a doggie bag dispenser, the "walk" was getting to them as opposed to while in them, but I really appreciate their being there.
    5) The rec room. Not too much, not too little. I gave my 8 year old his first lesson on how to play pool and we messed around with the treadmills a little. It could use a pinball machine or too, but overall, it's really nice.
    6) The laundry. Not overpriced and the machines are really fast, can't beat that.
    6) The lake. Took my kids fishing twice. The great part is, since it's on private property you don't need the ridiculous $68 fishing license for out-of-state residents. Didn't catch anything, didn't even get a bite, but it was still fun.
    5) The site. All concrete, level, hookups at the back where they belong instead of up by the road.
The only real thing that annoyed me at all while we were there was when trying to back my 35 foot trailer in the spot, the people in front of us and to the side were parked in the road, which made it very difficult to maneuver into the spot, but once we finally got in there everything was great.
