First thing I said to myself was, good hair day Carolina. Wait did you cut it? It looks so 1920's, 30's. :). As a matter of fact, I thought you looked very 20's today. Loved that photo album. I felt a bit sad that this family doesn't have this heirloom of memories anymore. I mean, how did it end up at that antique store? Wouldn't that family want that photo album? Lord knows I certainly would! So beautiful. And where on earth is that antique store? You always find such wonderful things there! And the prices are great too! Can you share where it is? Keep doing what you are doing, I love your videos girl. And oh yeah, if you want your hair to lay flat at the top (which I dunno why, it looks perfection right now..) have you tried a round brush with firm bristles hairspray and a blow dryer? Just spray the hairspray on that section, press down that section with the brush and blast the blowdryer on it. You might risk loosing the bouncy curls at the bottom. Or, wait, your could use hairspray on the part you think bumpy and then tie a scarf around your head, leaving the bouncy ends out so it doesn't get squished. Tie the top tight like a pirate:) What do you think?

The photo album is so beautiful I felt bad leaving it behind. I've never purchased old photographs before, but I felt nostalgic looking at these for some reason (I know it doesn't make sense but I really liked them). I don't know how they ended up in antique store, I always wonder the same thing when I see old photos. I think the same about those old homes that sit abandoned, as if the people disappeared. The first antique store is The Freelton Antique mall (I go there all the time!) and the second one is Clappison Corners Antiques (about a 5-7 min drive from each other). I haven't tried with a blow dryer because I worry it will ruin the curls below. I usually hairspray and comb and add clips like you saw at the beginning. I've tried using a tiny hair straightener but it doesn't look quite right........ wait... the scarf thing you said... you might be on to something ! I'm going to give that a try lol. Wearing a hat usually does the trick so the scarf might work !

We love a chaotic Carolina hehe. Try using more conditioner on higher parts of your hair so it's weighted-down, even some kind of leave-on conditioner in spray

Gosh, the colour is so much better with this new camera! The green tinge you mentioned as an issue with the last one (which I never realised before) is so much more noticeable now in comparison 😅 I think the sound was good when you were out and about/talked close to the camera. It was in your room where it seemed to be a bit echoey and far away. Maybe one of those fluffy things on top of the mic would fix that? No idea, purely guessing 🙈 In the meantime, don't worry the settings will get better as you experiment! I know, as a fellow perfectionist, easier said than done! 😜 Also, I would have snapped up that radio at 4:25, what a beauty!!! 😱😍
ok right !! I tried every setting on my G7X and messed around with the white balance but it always gave off a green tinge, unless it was nighttime (that camera is amazing in low lighting). I'm glad the colours look better! The colours are more compatible to my Canon 90D (the one I use for sit down videos and lookbooks) The G7X was just for vlogs. I already ordered a microphone for this camera and should be here in the next day or two! I'm filming a vlog this weekend to test it out because I have a trip coming up ! AHHH I loved that radio ! I didn't even check the price tbh.. I don't currently have a place for a piece like that. one day ! 😊

Haha with my usual videos you won’t because they are filmed on my DSLR camera. But if you compare this video to my other vlogs (like the clips of my shopping at the vintage show) there is a huge difference 😊 Thank you for watching anyway !
