I played about 2 to 3 hours. Don't think I'll play again. I was excited to play but then was actually impressed by how bad the combat feels. The attacks are flashy but have very little wait. It has an "acton" camera mode, but the fight's play out like any old tab target system. Then I looked around to see the fields of stationary enemies just waiting to be farmed by players trying to fill their quest quotas and I quickly remembered how tired and old these MMO mechanics are. The game looks great, but it feels like a 20 year old MMO. Add on to that a convoluted grind system and yeah, no thanks.
I'm starting to get freaked out. I can't remember the last time so many people came up with such BS criticism for a game before. That one about the combat doesn't even seem factual. Auto.. combos? TF? Hitting abilities? Like... in SWTOR or every tab-target MMO ever? Smh...

Its ok if you dont want to play it. I was on the early access train and the game was absolutely terrible. It was just a backdrop for pvp and the p2w is very evident. I dont know why it happens but this game was like one of the biggest memes a year ago and now that its out its peak coping. Every single video now that doesn't glaze it people are seething in the comments instead of just playing the game having fun. I hope you dont get threats!
Throne and Liberty is very flawed but the character creator isn't a problem at all. It's not Black desert customization, but it's not bad at all, you can create quite unique characters in it. The main problem instead is the fact that it doesn't really offer anything unique that makes me pick it over other MMOs. It feels like another cheap cash grab MMO without any actual attention put into the story and its world, which is arguably one of the most important things in an MMO. The lipsyncing, the voice acting, the character animations in the cutscenes are GOD AWFUL! It drives me crazy. The combat would be okay, cause the animations are cool and all, but the controls are extremely clunky.
@@jamesvan2201 Yeah there's that similarity I guess. :'D The cutscene character animations are a game breaker for me though. I don't know why it's so hard to make a good story campaign for an MMO. The closest is GW2, but even that becomes really slow.

Look at games like last oasis. It had a somewhat semi-story but only to get you started and fill in the mythos of the game. After that, it was just strictly about pvp. No further story exploration. That game died fast. (Also partly because the devs decided to go in a shit direction and wipe player progress every month or so.

During this time, I thought I was weak because I didn’t have traits. Turns out, that wasn’t the issue at all. There’s no build as ridiculous as the sword and shield / sword build. There are combinations so absurd that you can’t get out of stun ‘until you die.’ I’ve experienced how hard it is to play as a mage in this game. Open-world bosses are already the guilds’ playground. A party of 3-5 people can’t do anything. What I’m saying is that today, I reached 3k IP and quit the game. The characters are unbalanced, and the PvP is terrible. If anyone’s considering starting, take this comment seriously.
Lotro is fun, but I’d use a guide to help figure out how to gain access to Moria and get your Warhorse . The servers may be very low pop , great music , story
I played a few MMOs but they were all action combat so when I learned this game was tab targeting I already felt like I'll get bored out of my mind. Since it's my first real experience (The "trial" version of World of warcraft that I played doesn't count cuz I was too young to remember lmfao) with tab targeting, I have to say I'm impressed with how fun combat can be, though my biggest issue with the game is literally combat as even with the auto attack features, it doesn't automatically start attacking the next target if I don't have it literally aiming with my crosshair at the enemy. True I have no tried the classic targeting system as I prefer action (though literally the same other than you can move the camera around without having to hold right click) and it might be a skill issue on my end since it's my first real Tab targeting experience but I still hate it and wish it was improved upon. So as someone who never played the "good" tab targeting games, I don't really have much to complain about the game. It's not pay to win like I was told it was, it allows for a decent solo experience, randoms can be a bit of a pain sometimes to clear dungeons and there are honestly way too many events like wtf does the game expect me to play 24/7? And the fact some quests are tied to specific times of day is also a bit annoying but eh I can just skip the quests or do them alter. All in all, it's a decent game for me - though I see myself quitting the game after I exhaust all the campaign stuff, I doubt I'll farm the endgame, MMO's just aren't as good as they used to be
I wanted to give a try to Throne and Liberty, because I loved Lineage 2 from NCSoft, but this is really just mobile game to be played on pc. The easiest way how to see it are those menus Game looks nice but that is all. I hoped in mass pve farming like in Lineage 2 and some good PVP but i cannot even get through the initial levels how boring it is.
To sum up you do not want to play because you like another game (better?). This is your time and you do what you want. Not sure if I learned anything but this is good enough to kill time.

In truth i wont lie but the game is linda fun hit lvl 50 and for some reason i find throne and liberty boring now after over 118 hrs of gameplay. But i only come on if my guild do raids or dungeons.
Throne and liberty is not your kind of game if you like old games like star wars the old republic or lord of the rings online with all the old Jank that comes with that but at the same time though. the story is good the side quests are good and it can be grindy if you do the side quest and don't power level your self up to cap with dungeons and you just take it slow and do open world stuff its really fun like classic wow levels of fun. don't know about endgame though because have not made it there but have done a lot of the endgame activities and they're all fun to participate in all and all its at least an 8 if not a 10 out of 10 in its current state. yes its pay to win but its not punishing the free to players level because of the way builds work in the game even if you pay to win your going to have a big hole in some kind of defense be it magic, melee or ranged that more or less makes it fair for the free to players
It's free to play, try it out. Literally just give it 1-2h and see for yourself if you like it or not. Why not make your own opinion especially as a content creator?
sure, if you put your mind to it you can create silly looking character faces but T&L's character creator is a lot better than most. And your mention of auto-combo's is just wrong. I've only just started playing it just to check it out but so far its graphics are great and the combat not at all bad in a guild Wars 2 kind of way. I can't speak for the levelling up experience but i do get the feeling you've been listening too much to the negative reviewers, who if they told you the game has auto-combo's then they are just making shit up. I played LOTRO for years and in its time it was a great MMO. Well worth checking out still despite it having been horribly dumbed down over the years. You need to either read the book or watch the trilogy of movies to full appreciate the lore-depth LOTRO has.

READ BEFORE WATCHING. Hear me out. I never played MMO, this is the first one that I tried. First point this guy made was combat. So let me give you my first impression. Once you start the game, combat, targeting etc feels really off. Especially if you're used to games like Diablo, Virising etc.. But since I'm an adult, I opened settings and started looking what we have there. Then I realized that I can basically turn on/off everything that I had complaints about. Imagine that.. Play game a bit, and then you'll realize that some of the complaints, actually don't make sense.. This guy get 0/10 for his review because he didn't bother downloading free to play game.. So far, I was a bit overwhelmed as it's my first time in the genre, but overall I'm doing just fine. You can tweak almost anything in the settings. From what i've seen online, this is NOT the same game as in beta. Many people who played both made sure to let us know that it's not comparable experience. There is good endgame loop both for PVP P2W and PVE F2P players. NOTE. This might not be the next MMO where you'll sunk 20 years of your life in. But it's free and it's fun, so you can enjoy it for couple of thousands of hours and move on if you had enough

2:18, there's no autohit combos, the combat is incredibly intricate and difficult. those opinions are outright wrong. play the game, trust me.
You should play LOTRO until you get to Mordor and read some of the quests , it's a fun ride 😊

READ BEFORE WATCHING. Hear me out. I never played MMO, this is the first one that I tried. First point this guy made was combat. So let me give you my first impression. Once you start the game, combat, targeting etc feels really off. Especially if you're used to games like Diablo, Virising etc.. But since I'm an adult, I opened settings and started looking what we have there. Then I realized that I can basically turn on/off everything that I had complaints about. Imagine that.. Play game a bit, and then you'll realize that some of the complaints, actually don't make sense.. This guy get 0/10 for his review because he didn't bother downloading free to play game.. So far, I was a bit overwhelmed as it's my first time in the genre, but overall I'm doing just fine. You can tweak almost anything in the settings. From what i've seen online, this is NOT the same game as in beta. Many people who played both made sure to let us know that it's not comparable experience. There is good endgame loop both for PVP P2W and PVE F2P players. NOTE. This might not be the next MMO where you'll sunk 20 years of your life in. But it's free and it's fun, so you can enjoy it for couple of thousands of hours and move on if you had enough
