This is pretty awesome! And as far as I can tell, you are the only one that plays it the way the piano is really played in Comatose. Most just adapt the piano to sound like the song as a whole instead of just playing the piano part (if that makes any sense) so kudos for that! I especially love the part from 0:45-0:55! No one ever does that part and it's prob my fave part in the song!
Thank you :) The keyboard is a Casio PX-400R Privia. It's got 88 weighted keys, and works very good as a keyboard (as far as the amount of sounds it has, recording abilities and other audio options). It's not the kind of hardcore keyboard that can do anything, and not the perfect one for just playing piano, but it's terrific for the price.
Whoa man...as much as I appreciate your defense, thenewchance did nothing but give valid points and constructive criticism. No need to freak out at him :)
hheyy.. how did you figure out how to do this?? did you ever have a book for it or anything. cause im interasted in doing this cause i have an electric keyboard, but now i need the music for it and i was wondering if you know hwhere i could find sheetmusic or something
From 0:28 to about 0:45, how is he playing the left hand? I know the notes are E D C G B, but how is he playing it? I konw he's playing octaves, but it also sounds like he's alternating between high and low. I tried that out, and it doesn't sound nearly as good as what he's actually playing. Anyone know? Reply please ^.^
Unfortunately I don't have any sheet music for it, I figured this out by ear. However, my tutorial is in the video responses for this video, as well as in the sidebar on the left, if that helps. I know sheet music is much easier then tutorials though :-/
It should have been up a while ago...gotta get my frickin' camera fixed. I'll let you know when it's up, but I don't think I really have an estimate. If I did...maybe within the week, though that's very tentative.
Not trying to bag on you because it is good, but practice with a metronome.... It helps stop you from rushing though your pieces.... Another thing that could help is keeping the fingers that are not playing on the keys nd not lifting them up when they aren't being used, common mistake.... Easy fix.
well you have great ability but actually you didnt play the most important! the part when the singer says: Comatose, I'll never... Cause there sounds some really sweet notes
This is pretty awesome!

It should have been up a while ago...gotta get my frickin' camera fixed. I'll let you know when it's up, but I don't think I really have an estimate. If I did...maybe within the week, though that's very tentative.

5/5
I've played it on a piano...my keyboard feels very similar to most pianos though, so it was the same besides the effects :)
Yup :)

It's in the key of G.
