    I love your quote: "Calories are energy... why do we want to spend our whole lives getting as little energy as possible?" very powerful!!

    Food is our friend , when I used to restrict I alienated so many people all for a number on a scale that made me feel miserable anyway as it was never low enough , stay strong and enjoy your life 👍

    I think maybe there’s a bit of subtlety to how much focus is on whatever we’re struggling with. Sometimes there needs to be more when our problems are getting worse so that we don’t loose track and sometimes when we are doing better there needs to be less focus so we can feel more comfortable where we are at. I think everyone has always got to find the balance to whatever kind of life they lead. Other people have to lend to that balance too. On the worst days where you struggle the most it’s important to remember that you know you’re going to have a few days like this and you can handle it. It can feel really hard on those days, but you will pull through. We are always stronger than we feel. We end up looking back and wondering how we ever did it. Because we’re amazing, that’s how.

    Yes people keep telling me I don't look different but I think it's so important when you feel down about weight gain don't focus on whether you have gained but tell yourself it will all settle and trust your body to reach its set point you need to not worry about any off it well done to you and well done for helping other people with sharing your correct advice don't wry about the bloat it's not permanent people

    Hey, Jessica. I think what you're doing is great. It takes so much strenght to allow all your cravings and accept weight gain. You're such a powerful warrior and the fact that you're sharing your experience and helping others is wonderful. I just wanted to give you some advice about motivation. I think you shouldn't make your experiences with your boyfriend one of the biggest motivations because you never know what could happen in life. For example, if you guys get in a argument or even breakup (whick I hope never happens!!!) It could affect your eating and you need to make sure that it wouldn't! You need to be doing this only for yourself, not for your family or friends. Your body is the most important thing and you need to take care of it no matter what, even when you hate how it looks. I wish you good luck because I know how hard it is (I'm currently gaining a lot of weight too) but we both will beat this illness, I'm sure. Life is just too short to waste it by not fueling our bodies probably.

    This random but can you have an eating disorder and be in the ‘normal’ weight range ?

    • @lydyma6225
      @lydyma6225 3 года назад +1

      I know this question is not for me but absolutely yes! Weight loss is usually just one of the symptoms and it doesn't mean that you're not sick if you're not underweight. You can still damage your health by doing ed behaviours at any weight. And you don't need to look sick to ask for help. Everyone deserves recovery.
