Her town she is referring to is Valencia, a community in Santa Clarita, CA. She was a year younger than me at our high school. At the time, I think most of us didn't know she was working as a budding Hollywood star; I didn't. I don't really know her but my impression is that she is super down-to-earth and humble. There was another actor in her grade that went to my jr. high that was notorious for having a huge ego / attitude....which is hard to blame with child stars. Props to Ashley for being so grounded!
