1)Do you have a vid showing how much cue ball spin is transferred to an object ball? 2) A video showing the different directions you can send a cue ball after cutting a ball near or on the rail.
I know you have documented this topic very well DrDave, but is there a chance we could get a video in the spirit of "The Top 10 things you need to know about Throw"? There's been a couple of cases where I knew throw could be in my advantage, but since I only recently dared to start using sidespin a video like the ones you've recently posted would be very useful. Again, thank you for improving my game dramatically in just a year worth of weekly practice :)
They should all work on any table, with small adjustments where required. The masse shot might be tough if the cloth is slow and not very slick, but it is still possible.
You are correct. Thank you for pointing this out. I just added the following NOTE to the video description: “NOTE - In Shot 10, running spin is left, not right. Sorry for the mistake. “
Hey there. For the next video, could you put on a mullet wig, grow a mustache, wear sunglasses and put on a headset and refer to yourself as Dr. DaveRespect?
@@DrDaveBilliards Ow he knows you DrDave, there's no doubt in my mind he does! Floooorian, ow Floooorian, is there any possibility you and DrDave would do a video together on trickshots? ;)

Oh the patience you must have. I can only imaging the time you put into this. Thanks, this was very entertaining.
This one was fun, and I learned a lot about these shots that I didn't know before. I'm glad you liked it.

Dr. Dave you literally give us gold, thanks so much for all your contributions to this great sport.
Thank you ... and you're welcome.

Thanks as always Doctor...

Very good shot s and explained good only thing I can not find the link for the pictures for the ball placement

It's on my list. In the meantime, the list at the bottom of the throw tutorial page is useful:

@@DrDaveBilliards As always, thank you for your aim to swerve ;)
That first shot, I re-align to cheat the pockets, then add four balls in the jaws. It's a fairly easy way to make eight.
Good idea.
So cool!
Thanks!
Another cool video Dr. Dave!
Question.. what type of balls are you using?
Aramith Pro ... I think.
DrDave, is it possible to do this on a standard pub 6 or 7ft table?
They should all work on any table, with small adjustments where required. The masse shot might be tough if the cloth is slow and not very slick, but it is still possible.
I just did some of those trick shots and it was interesting
Trick shots are always fun, especially when you know the "secrets" for how to set them up and hit them.
Dr. Dave can you do a video on how to do a curving draw shot?
I already have several versions here:

Hi Dave, i have a question, hope you can clear it up for me,
are graphite pool cues the same as carbon fiber pool cues? Thank you
Yes. "Graphite" is another name for "carbon fiber" or "CF." For more info on CF shafts, see:

TrickShot10. why bottom right and not bottom left?? In this trickshot u use draw so the running english is bottom LEFT.....

More skill shot than trick shot
Trick shots still require aim of hitting the ball correctly
... they also often teach skills and knowledge helpful in some actual game situations.
@@DrDaveBilliards yes
Love the tutorial by the way, wanted to do cool pool trick shots for a while but now I finally can
