  • In this video I will show you how I preshading figure by airbrush.
I'm using acrylic black Surface Primer (A.Mig-2005), Matt White acrylic color (A.Mig-0050) and Acrylic Thinner (A.Mig-200). Preasure for airbrush is about 1bar.
In the entire lightening process, the most important thing is to apply the paint from top to bottom.
Apply thin layers of paint and observe when the effect is satisfactory. That's all.
    Have a good painting!
Used figure is a Mantis Miniatures product in 1:35 scale.
Figure holder produced by Alexander Latusch.

What I showed in the video is to bring out the shape, folds, details and it is a hint of how the light and shadow are arranged. This is what preshading is all about. The next step is entirely up to you. Depending on what technique you paint, what paints, brush, airbrush, etc.

@@90sarcadefighter5 I am planning a few videos about painting figures my way, I will definitely want to show how I paint faces, shading and camouflages. I'm just setting up a new studio and as soon as I'm done with it, I'll be able to start filming.
