I love how authetic everything looks in the show: the actors being actual teenagers, the "hi" thing, the acting.
This is the type of representation that kids and teenagers needed.
Finally something lighthearted that gives hope to the younger people.
The song I chose is one of the sweetest song I ever heard. Hope you like it!

I binged this all and I loved it so much, everything I wanted for translating the novel to screen, the actors were perfect and I love Tao and argh!! yes to it all! the rainbows and literal starry eyes and the snow day and Isaac reading Radio Silence!

@@joeysalazar4012 oh no, I knew that they where a bit older (Kit and Joe are both 18) and honestly I'm glad for it, I'm just saying that I'm glad they chose young adults (only a year or two out of the ages of their characters)that look like young adults, instead of 30 year old men who don't look the slightest bit like secondary school students! They still have the gangly awkward look that makes heartstopper so endearing, it wouldn't have worked if not.

I am 47 now and I am really happy for todays teens to have such series so that they have something to identify with as LGBT, showing that they are not allone out there. I whish I would have had such shows when I was a teen back in the 80ies and 90ies. We need definitly more of it.
I wished I watched series like this before queer as folk since thats the only lgbt+ series at my time, I think it affected the way I perceived relationships now 😂😂🥰

the casting for nick is BEYOND perfect. he took that character breathed him to life. what a great actor.

This is one of the very best gay movies I have ever watched. As an older gay Boomer who came out in May 1968, this movie brought up a LOT of emotions. The fears of being gay when I came out were palpable. "Heartstopper" is thrilling, pulling on the multiple emotions gays experience. It is refreshing and encouraging to see films today that only a few years ago were unthinkable.

Just like a comic I read, the series is heartwarming and really cute. The casting, actors are just so accurate and has strong chemistry. All I wanna say is I need Season 2 so bad. Netflix better make S2.

Their relationship make me a little cry. I think the story of Nick/Charlie should be an exemple for everyone, no just for lgbt persons. Their love story is so healthy, so pure, kind, loving, respectful and caring and i think it should be normal for all of us to have the same love story in a shity world.

literally watched it all and it was so amazing😮💨 the emotions were one of the best things i’ve ever watched. it felt like i was there with all of the friends. wasn’t expecting them to drop the whole show thought it was gonna be episode by episode but glad it wasn’t :)

I binged this yesterday and I'm gonna binge it about 1000 more times, because I love it soo much. I just wish I would have known about the novels earlier, I have never had real bisexual representation till the least two years or so in media. I can really relate to nick and I am so thankful for that.
After watching this show, I just realised how much I want a Charlie in my life, it's been such a long search but trust me, searching for your Charlie is not easy although it's worth it. This show was THE BEST, I have never fallen in love with a show itself, I'm glad I decided to watch it, binge watched it and one of the best choices I ever made, although i am sad I finished it in a go, I wish I could watch it forever. Gonna watch it again.

absolutely loved it. the casting was perfect. i loved seeing nicks actor get more comfortable with his co-stars. it's clear that by the end of the series he was really comfortable with everyone.
it was so refreshing to see as well. the teen casting is amazing and we need more series like this coming out.
the personality of each character was there and i'm totally here for it. tao was amazing, same with tara i think.
i would 100% watch it again and recommend it to those needing something to bing watch.

I was not aware of the graphic novel by Alice Oseman and I love this series, I hope that we get a 2nd season, I'm glad that the young LGBTQ community is getting what they need at this time, quality programming and positive representation. I hope that this inspires more artist to come forward and continue with this trend.
