- Retrofit Of A Factory Style Reversing & Front Parking Camera To A Porsche Macan 2015 With PCM 3.1
This was a first for us here. We're so used to installing cameras to the Audi, VW, BMW and Mercedes platform we haven't had the chance for Porsche!
The owner of this Macan wanted a camera that looked as factory as possible in terms of it's on screen display and the cameras that we installed. As we installed an aftermarket system to be able to interface with the Genuine PCM we were able to add a Front Camera to the mix.
This kit also allows for a HDMI input to be installed in conjunction to allow for Smartphone mirroring, Games Consoles, Fire TV Sticks etc
Compatibility:
✔ 991 - 2012 onwards
✔ Boxster - 2014 onwards (software 4.5 and above)
✔ Cayenne - 2011 onwards
✔ Cayman - 2014 onwards (software 4.5 and above)
✔ Macan - 2014 onwards (software 4.5 and above)
✔ Panamera - 2009 onwards
If your vehicle is listed above then a camera can be retrofitted but you must have the PCM 3.1 with Micro-SD Card Installed

What scan tool are you using to enable the front and rear camera with in the factory Porsche PCM? I have an Autel mp808ts, it is not allowing me to enable the reversing camera though. Yes the tool is a bi-directional tool
