  • I'm not normally a fan of hydraulic lifts, but this lift is just superb. Custom announcements, short levelling times, and remnants of the original lift make this lift a must see if in the area! Be aware though, it's VERY busy!
This lift has been on my list to film for quite a while now - it's nice to finally be able to ✅ this one off.
    Thanks for watching!
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    YOUR FAQ's!
    Where is this lift located?
TK Maxx and Wagamama Kensington. Enter the building through the Wagamama entrance (shown clearly in the video) and the lift will be immediately on your left.
What was this lift before it was modernised?
This lift used to be a Sea Setronik installed by Crown Lifts, which was modernised by Jackson. This lift has been modernised again since then. I'm sure that the Sea Setronik was a modernisation / replacement of the original lift here, but I don't know for certain. You can see an older video of this lift on ElevatorsInRussia's channel: • BUSY 1990's Curti (mb ...
What fixtures/voice does this lift have?
Buttons: 3 different models of button are used - Dewhurst US90-15, Dewhurst US91-EN, and CEA Block 37 mf (thanks wolfdevil).
    Indicators: Stentorgate MFDU30-3H
    Voice: Female Stentorgate
Who is responsible for servicing this lift and repairing it when it breaks down?
Jackson are currently responsible for the maintenance of this lift.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks very much to Roa Music for creating the song which is used as my intro! You can listen to the song here: • Roa - Feel Better 【Off...
    A genuinely amazing song!

Interestingly, in Australia it seems very much the norm, rather than the exception, for generic voice modules to offer custom announcements. Both the majors (ECD and Pixel Technologies) offer it, with interesting results as the ECD voice actress' voice has gotten deeper with time, making the brand new custom voices sound odd compared to her original, higher pitch direction voices. Even more starkly, the Pixel Technologies ones use voice modules originally seen in Singapore but with a different, Australian-accented VA, and her custom voices also sound very different from the original's lower quality, different accent direction voices.
