Its been some time since I have seen a video from your channel, but that's my fault just haven't been watching RUclips at all lately but I gotta say from what I can see in your shop now I am fully impressed!! I been watching since the very first videos you did of your old hard body purple crush and when you built the frame table for it before.you started anything on it and that was a long time ago!!! Going from your garage doing that project to seeing the equipment and tools you have built up is totally awesome!!! Even with simple tools you have always done clean work but you are on another level now it's very impressive!! Awhile back I used to build handle bars for Harleys and we did these ones called Z bars. The name explains what they looked like but an issue or complaint I would get was it was very difficult to get any wires ran through them. I would give Instructions saying take a piece of string and an air compressor and blow the string through and that was your pull cord but everyone couldn't wrap their heads around that so instead before I would burn them together I would run a wire through them then weld them so then the customer would have something to attach to a pull the wires through that way. Moral of the story is perhaps before you weld up the frame sections like you did run a wire or something that won't burn basically through those holes then if you run anything through there it would be much less of a hassle. Just a thought is all! Sorry about rambling on here also. Have a great day!!
Maurya thanks for the comment, really means alot. Appreciate you for sticking around this long! Crazy how time flys, and the things that happen but in the moment it feels like nothings happening lol. Sweet, I've seen those style bars before. That's a genius idea, I already welded the frame rails so it will have to wait for the next project lol. Deffintly will use that trick in the future it will come in handy I'm sure. Thanks for watching my dude!!
Looks good! I've ran a time-saver (belt sander) at a job before, and it's one of the best machines to have for removing the coating they put on metal. Great video and work as always! I look forward to the next one 🤙🏼
I’m excited to watch this series. When you attach the back half to the stock frame, can you show detailed pics and video of how you did that (weld points, how deep the backhand goes into the stock frame etc)? In any event thanks for the content and keep it up!☺️
Looking forward to this one! Been a long time coming, dad's trucks gunna be sweet! Love seeing how far your fab skills have progressed from purple crush days! Keep on truckn Jake 👌
Excellent explanation of the plan and the work as it was happening!!! Please elaborate on the “weld prime“ concept. Can’t wait to see more of this project come together!
I really look forward to following along on this new series!
