    I tried telling people after the draft he was gonna surprise some people. He was always able to seperate from defenders in college. He's gonna do great with Mac Jones if they can get the offense in sync with play calling.

      If he gets on the field, Mac will use him. Macs too smart to ignore a serious weapon like that in favor of relationships. Plus, we don’t know what Mac & Tyquans relationship building has been like. I saw them exchanging laughs on the sideline last night. If he gets on the field, he will see targets.

      @@alexstrubing9922 I mean it’s hard to be as productive as Smith was when Thornton’s offense was running the ball like 63% of the time and had bad QB play throughout most of his time there. Watch Thornton’s tape and he shows a legit WR skill set, and he is much stronger than he looks, dude has been a really solid run blocker throughout college and he showed it on Thursday night. Not saying he is as good as Smith but definitely can’t rule out the fact that he could be a really good player

    Defenses might as well not even have cornerbacks anymore , just let the wide recievers catch the ball then "carefully" tackle them, offense is totally favored defenses are fucked just hope your opponent has worse recievers that will drop passes
    ...forget about offensive lines it's just constant holding calls

    Not saying he wont be good but i didnt see anything special on this clip. More bad play by the corner than anything special for him. I hope he does good though. But we all know bellichicks track record when it comes to receivers.

      What that pass break up play should have been a touchdown. He beat that DB clean off the line but had to slow down cuz the ball was under thrown. That safety wouldn't of had a chance if Hoyer had thrown the ball up the field a little more.

      Mmm debatable I don’t think any of those failed WRs have consistently impressed in camp/preseason as much as Thornton has so far. I’m not coming to any conclusions yet and saying we finally hit on one but early signs are much better than they usually are

      @@ChadTheDragonLord from what I see on espn and what the lions list him at he’s apparently 180 lbs. but yeah I don’t doubt he’s a bit heavier, just notable with the two both being pretty much the same player types with similar height and weight, and Jameson having more production because of being at Alabama as opposed to a 60% run offense with bad QB play more often than not and Tyquan definitely flashes real WR talent in his tape. Not saying Tyquan is just as good or better, definitely isn’t atm but it’s interesting to see the knocks on Tyquan with these other skinnier guys coming out not getting as much heat on it due to their production.
