What a coincidence, just applied to renew my passport today in UK. Done digitally, £75. They have just announced today it may take up to ten weeks!!! WTF!
Every embassy is different. I went last Friday (2 April) from Khon Kaen to the Belgium Embassy in Bkk for a new passport. Today I received a e-mail that I can go take it or that they will send it to me. This mean it took 6 working days for a Belgium new passport, knowing that they have to send the demand to Belgium and the new passport comes from Belgium. So, by this way I congratulate the Belgium administration.
@@jerseyfaranginthailand8134 I thought you needed a letter from the British Embassy to transfer your visa into your new passport. I guess we will find out in 2-3 months. :)
@@Coolhandmeister hello Luke, no they said all i needed was 2 photos and a bill from Jersey with my Thailand address and thats it, they fill in the form too all i did was just sign forms

Thanks Lloyd, it always appears to me that, going through a visa agent, there are much less hassles with any immigration issues, I should have done that when I was living over there in Patong pre-covid, instead of standing in queues for most of the day , I might go that route when I finally get back over there from Australia. cheers buddy and stay safe.

Why didn't you do self service yourself thru hmrc website. Its very easy, digital pic thru the website, simple form, then DHL your passport. You just paid double what you needed to. Im in KL , Malaysia, got my new blue British passport in less than 3 weeks, both old and new passport come back separately. All during pandemic

With wats going on in the world now its good im working. But i cant sort his passport out from here. So glad i always look at your vidios. Ive already told my wife about it too. Sorry cant give out my email address, we been told not to do that by the police, we had some serious trouble making Trolls on us with all our channels and police are checking our emails and facebook comments.

Government paperwork and taxes, two inescapable realities eh? It’s nice you can get someone else to deal with the paper work. Now you just need to find someone to pay your taxes. 😉
I have little problem making 90dy reporting when b4 do it via visa agent who do it other side of Thailand but fortunately i have good Thai friend who managed all ok. I afraid also is my visa ok butvseems when not complained it. Soon need renew visa again, will see how i can do it 🙄
1st you do not need to surrender your passport for renewal. 2nd currently less than 1000baht to fly to Bangkok from udon return been looking as was thinking of a trip but looking bad to travel at moment do your homework buddy
Did my homework Buddy, its cheaper to do with agant and dont want to go to BKK with all this spread of 19 again parts, plus i heard i cant go to Trendy office due to 19
